- The highly anticipated Five Nights at Freddy's Security Breach was recently released, and...it's a glitchy mess. A few bugs and glitches can make games fun, but they were just so constant and, at times, game-breaking, that this is the first time I've had to look at a game negatively because of how utterly poor the state of it is, at least at launch.
I finished the game in 12 hours, and I had 30 clips of glitches, bugs and errors in the game that I have compiled into here.
The game is not bad at it's core, but whether it be time constraints, not enough money or resources, or just not being skilled enough, Security Breach does not live up to the hype.
But the glitches sure are funny.

Oh, buddy. The biggest game-breaking bug isn't in this video. So, fun fact: The Princess Quest minigames, which you need to do to get the best ending, are made for mouse and keyboard. And by, "made for mouse and keyboard," I mean that you literally cannot interact with anything in them when you're playing on the PS5 and you can't leave the screen unless you close the game entirely. I'm not making this up.
Oh yeah, and apparently Vanny was supposed to randomly show more often, but the meter that causes her to do so is bugged.
I've also gotten glitches where I'd see two Freddies or two Vanessas at once.
I knew about the Princess Quest because it’s the only reason I’m not trying to get a platinum trophy. You’d think they would fix a third of the game but nah, it’s not that important.
The Vanny meter was confirmed by one of the developers who said that it wasn’t bugged; it was removed. The feature was once part of the game during development but was dropped. Why? No clue. The main antagonist barely shows up as is which is infuriating. But they did say they might add the feature back, so it’s just dumb what they did.
But yeah, there are plenty of glitches I haven’t experienced that so many more people have.

@@Moald I wouldn’t blame Scott because he departed well before the game released. He didn’t tease it or set a release date, Steel Wool did. Blame he higher-ups a Steel Wool or Sony for pushing thee game to launch, not the creator of the franchise.

The devs are honesty lucky FNAF has such a positive rep and communities it would be completely torn apart had it been some other game like cyberpunk
Yeah, Cyberpunk was the entire gaming community whereas SB was just the FNAF community. Everyone I have seen that isn’t really connected to the FNAF community love SB, like MrTLexify.
I have to say, the game has a ton of passion put into it, however I feel like someone at the dev team kinda wanted to get it out early so they could make money

Montys Golf just seems completely broken with their collisions. You can also just pass through the wall at the main entrance the right wall at the stairs down to the main holes and end up at the other side of the big crocodile maw. Game was so frustratingly bugged, that I never rebought it after they readjusted the prices on steam :/

A bug that happend to me during the monty boss fight and in the roxy race way is that I called freddy and he started freaking out, trying to spawn everywhere but didnt, flasing up and then trying to spawn somewhere else, made the Monty boss fight so much harder since I didnt know what footsteps freddy did or what footsteps monty did, and it didnt help that freddy flashes up infront of you so you cant see
I know that for Roxy, Chica and Monty’s boss fights, Freddy isn’t supposed to be there to help you. You probably got to a point where the code to not allow Freddy to spawn wasn’t and so he was trying to spawn on you but couldn’t find somewhere he was allowed.
It seems to be an area glitch similar to the one I had in Roxy’s Raceway as well, where he’s trying to spawn but there aren’t any areas for him to spawn at.
They should just make it so he can’t be called in certain areas like the first time in the Loading Bay or the Sewer, but that’s just my opinion.
OH MY GOD! 4:15 So I'm not the only one who was having so many issues with Monty in the West Arcade?! I was trying to stay so calm on my stream but he kept t-posing and sliding through walls like a god, jump scaring me when he wasn't even close (turns out from this video he was in the stairs in my game too). I thought I was going nuts. I physically can not finish this game until they patch the bugs, but I lovee it so I'll wait a little while longer! 💜
Ps. You honestly would expect DJ Music Man to have more bugs because he's such a big entity in game, but I guess he was worked on more to perfection?
I mean, DJMM is only actually active for a tiny part of the game. He can grab you when you’re in the bathroom and when chasing you down the hallway, but that’s all that can go wrong.
Buuuuut even then, if you’re able to glitch Freddy into the West Arcade and get inside of him during the DJMM chase then you’re basically invincible with no worries for losing battery. You can check out AstralSpiff’s No Running video, he glitched it out.
DJ Music Man is a perfect being. He simply did not allow the bugs.

I only saw Monty once through the whole part. He just stays in one place and never chased me. Not even the staff bots getting me would make Him chase me
DJMM is a spider, he *eats* bugs.

@@stardust_falls If they playtested then jumping before entering Freddy wouldn’t literally destroy the map. It’s a simple thing that I’m sure at least one playtester would do.
many people think it was playtested by the devs themselves, which is why many of the bugs were overlooked. So im guessing because of the budget they couldn't hire actual playtesters

I have had my fair share of glitches.
I also did the save glitches so that I could save the game after getting the assist bots head again after getting the second Freddy upgrade.
I got the head after hours but forgot to save and instead just went down the elevator. Monty isn’t very hard so I’m fine repeating it, especially since I know what to do now.

The moon chase is the most broken section in a video game I ever scene!
this is a beautifully broken game, haven't played it but its hilarious to watch the bugs. i guess it could be frustrating if you're super serious about it but i'd like to get the game and just mess around with it
I love bugs in games, I have hundreds of clips that I thoroughly enjoy, but some glitches in this game go too far to the point that it stops being fun and becomes infuriating.
I shall explain 2 of these to the best of my ability
quantum freddy - a bug with the animatronic teleportation, causes freddy to teleport basically anywhere he's allowed to teleport, but he keeps doing it
giga monty - a bug which makes monty sprint at the player from across the map instead of teleporting, and will keep running at you indefinitely until you die (with somehow improved pathfinding), even if you're in freddy (somehow, he gave up on you), bug is mostly random chance, but excessive time travelling will cause around 2 - 5 giga monty's to appear
I heard about giga Monty from the sprint less video, glad someone explained
Adding to the Giga Monty thing because we actually do know how he works now- it actually had very little to do with time travel, the time travel just made it easy to stumble across the bug by accident. There's a segment during the game where Monty is manning a spotlight. For some reason this Monty is not Monty; he is Giga Monty, a version of Monty with all of the teleportation and all of his respect for Gregory's ability to hide in Freddy removed. He also cannot figure out where Gregory is on his own, but will magically know his location as soon as he's spotted by literally anyone else and will not lose track of him through breaking line of sight or due to hiding spots. If this Monty could, at any point, reach the player after being alerted to their location, he would sprint at full speed from his position on top of that sound booth thing to the player's location. If the player hides or jumps onto a surface, Giga Monty will wait until they come within reach. If they hide in Freddy, he will chase Freddy until Freddy runs out of battery. However, Giga Monty can normally not get to Gregory, on account of being on top of a sound booth thing and not being allowed to drop off of ledges.
Fun fact about this game's programming, however; when you leave an area, the area unloads, but the animatronics in that area do not. This, like the quirks in Giga Monty's programming, would not be an issue in and of itself. It's a decent way to save processing power as long as the game loads in properly once you come back, which it sometimes just. fails to do. I don't know why the animatronics stay, I would presume it's so that they can be teleported across the map to your location once a staff bot catches you. Anyways, when you leave the atrium with Giga Monty spawned in, he remains. But the platform he's on unloads, dropping him down onto the floor.

But why are there multiple Giga Monties? Well, the game doesn't check to see if one Giga Monty is already spawned in when you re-enter the area. The game checks to see if there is a Giga Monty in his place on the roof. Which, remember there isn't. Giga Monty is on the ground, ready to sprint towards the player at top speed the next time a staff bot notices a speck of dust out of place. So the game spawns a new Giga Monty. On the roof. Which will unload if you leave the area. Dropping him to the ground. Which is not the roof. So the game spawns a new Giga Monty on the roof. You get the idea.
The time travel connection stems from a sprintless run done by a guy named AstralSpiff. In order to skip a part of the game where mini Music Man forces you to sprint, he time travelled around a bunch using different story cues. Because this time travel skipped him from before the spotlight sequence where Giga Monty would usually spawn to after it was already over, the game never marked him as having finished the sequence, but it did mark him as having started it. He then unloaded and reloaded the atrium five times in the process of playing the game 'normally', before angering the Giga Monties, who then made their presence known. You don't need to time travel to get them, just unload the atrium during that part of the game, and the limit is less 5 and more however many your game can handle before it gives up and dies courtesy of the 70 sprinting robots you've summoned from across the multiverse.
this game is so visually beautiful and I really wanna love it but the game is just so unforgivable broken, it's sad really. I was quite disappointed.

The Monty at 5:10 isn't just any Monty it's the all mighty Giga Monty, king of all Montys.
If you don't know what a Giga Monty is then please search for it, their is a video that explains what a Giga Monty is and how to spawn them, it's hilarious 😂
For me the worst glitches and bugs are the ones from the secret ending haha. I thought it was just Markiplier having bad luck but when I watched other youtubers they had the same problems with Freddy locking himself on the recharge stations or the recharge stations simply not working at all, this section is also after the no saves that's why I think is the worst
I had a hard time in that sequence too, but just because it is so poorly explained.
They don’t say that Freddy can only be used for ten seconds before needing to recharge for a minute, they don’t tell you how long it will take to beat Afton, an it says to Hide even though you’re supposed to scare Roxy off. It took me about half an hour to get through AND I had to search up online what to do.

On the good side- I do like the servo sounds of the animatronics pouncing at you (ya know, the sound that happens when Roxy charges you).

Out of curiosity I started documenting a couple of the bugs to see if I could list them all.
After a couple days the Google Doc has now reached 11 pages. And a couple more might be added because of this video.
I've honestly experienced very little bugs/glitches but when I do....its absolute dogshit. During the West Arcade bit I tripped one of the bots but eh whatever I was near a hiding spot....should NOT have done that, when I tried to leave said spot I LITERALLY couldn't and had to back out and redo that whole bit all over again -_-

Most of these are not actually glitches,for example:when an animatronic doesnt kill you when you get in freddy in front of them is actually a game mechanic.And the laser gun not working on monty is a game mechanic too,since he has glasses.(roxie not catching you on the stage lift is on purpose since u stole her eyes,or did you?)SORRY THIS COMMENT IS LONG.
My clips of the animatronics after getting into Freddy were more for their models glitching through Freddy and being visible, or when Monty just chased me around.
The Fazerblaster didn’t work on Monty which I didn’t know at the time, but the glitch was that he was stuck in the stairs and I couldn’t move with him there.
The Roxy one I can admit wasn’t really a glitch or anything, but I was trying to press the button and it wouldn’t work and she almost got me.

Although I love the game it... it needs help. It has bugs that soflock the game there's a bug that just prevents you from playing to and after the opening parts and services quest if you go through the taco store instead of the other route, the glich where the entire map unloads if you press Jump while entering freddy and other fun things like not unloading a cutsene model wayyyy after it's over, or when gaining the enter parts and services quest just... not unloading gameplay freddy so greggory is like "oh no I have to save freddy' but he's still there even in the cutsene. Any I love the game just........ patch.

There’s a glitch in not happy about,when I go to the west arcade and I have to reset the three breakers but on the last one it doesn’t let me reset it so like it doesn’t show the button to press it and I think I have to restart my whole game bc I’ve retry and retry and so on and it doesn’t let me reset the breaker please if you know how to fix the glitch plz tell me.
In West Arcade, you have to pull the lever next to Music Man first, then the three levers in the area. The first is in the janitor room in the male toilet, the switch in the bottom floor of the stair area along the far wall, and the last switch is on the second floor across the bridge and next to a pram. Then you should get the mission to pull the switch in the hallway.

I got a glitch where i needed to go to roxy raceway and i needed freddy's voice box to open the gate but when i called him he didn't come
Sometimes there’s areas where Freddy won’t spawn because of issues as to where he is. Different areas to call him or riding him to the gate might work!

Guys, from what I heard, it’s the early version of the game. So you’re gonna get bugs and glitches.
The game has been out for two weeks, but even then an “early version” of the game should be playable upon launch. The only time that this would be acceptable as any version of the game would be if it was a pre-release alpha/beta. But it isn’t; it’s a $60 fully released game. Games like Undertale, and even FNAF 1, released from developer teams in the single digits and early on were complete games. They weren’t patched to be fixed over time so that the game was competently made, they were just well made games upon launch. And if it wasn’t ready, they kept developing instead of getting whatever they had ready out for Christmas.

Am I the only who got a bug where you literally can't get into Freddy's stomach anymore? I'm on pc and I want to know if there is a way to fix it
Yeah, that happened to me some times. Try saving and loading it or loading a previous save, maybe dying or doing an objective. Basically Freddy is just glitched and he needs to return to normal. Markiplier had that glitch and what he did was go inside of a recharge station (which locked him inside Freddy) and then use the elevator for the West Arcade. It made him leave Freddy and he was able to use him normally.
@@Onyxiate What's funny about that is one, if not the very first, time Markiplier encounter that glitch is when he got the Faz-er Blaster and tested it out by shooting Freddy in the face then couldn't climb back into his chest cavity.
Upon first viewing that seemed like an actual mechanic to me. That pissing off Freddy with the Faz-er Blaster or Faz-Cam will prevent you from hiding with him for a short amount of time. Because if I recall properly all Mark did afterwards was just wall around for a few minutes until he was able to get the button prompt again. It only when I viewed other playthroughs did I I realize it was a glitch.

I was showing how many times I died from Vanny in that sequence before my screen just decided to go black. The game didn’t stop, it just got rid of everything I could look at.

It really feels like bethesda helped SWS in making this game...
The game is amazing in all ways however it was rushed as hell when it comes to debugging
It really has the passion, creativity, tension, atmosphere and storytelling that can rival any FNaF game, and most indie games, but the game feels like they didn’t have much time and was rushed, didn’t have the resources they needed, or were over-ambitious.
Down the road I’d want to revisit the game to see if things are more enjoyable to play through.
The final release of this game feels like the first alpha build you send to your QA team for them to play test, record bugs and offer suggestions for gameplay tweaks.
Except they sent this out to print as the finished product. For $40.
And I paid $60!
This stuff makes me glad I'm not a gamer sometimes. Even if I could throw $60 around whenever I want too I don't want to spend it on a glitch mess like all these hyped up games. Though glamrock Freddy is tempting...
@@oneofakind9995 I don’t have expendable income, I’ve been saving up money I got from my birthday for the game. I bought it as soon as it released, before reviews and RUclipsrs had talked about the game so I didn’t have any idea how the game was going to be. The comparison I see is to this and Cyberpunk, but the difference is I paid $60 for Security Breach and $110 for Cyberpunk and yet Cyberpunk is one of my favourite games and one that I can’t wait to replay when it gets remastered.

They definitely had a good option. Delaying a game and having lame fans being irate about it is infinitely better than releasing a bugged mess and being dragged through the mud for it/having to play catch up with a million patches honestly

I noticed a lot of the bugs on this video that markiplier also experienced.
I'd actually call this game pretty good, but they never should've released the game in the state its currently in.
Honestly it has the skeleton of a great game but is missing strong meat on its bones.

Gotta love how almost everybody likes the game but still everyone agrees that the game has an ass optimization and that the amount of bugs rivals that of Cyberpunk.

Im having an issue at the part where moon kidnapps freddy at the charging station, freddy will not move from elevator, ive restarted the game twice and the issues continues after 2 restarts, ive uninstalled the game 2 times more and the issue will not allow me to progress in the game. What do I do?
You can try to load an older save file, and if that doesn’t work then you might have to replay the game entirely. MatPat had a similar issue at that same area and had to start the game over to get it to work.

I understand why there’s so many bugs and glitches. Pretty much the dev team were being put under pressure cause the game kept having different multiple release dates set up and someone in the team said “ok we need to get this game out ASAP” cause I guess they didn’t want the fans waiting more. Also I don’t think they got to test the game before releasing it.
In my opinion, I love the game but I just wish they weren’t under pressure to release it.
I think Scott missing is what made the game spiral down. Despite his personal beliefs, his love for the franchise and his dedication to releasing a complete product was what made every previous FNAF game release almost flawlessly before, but him having to drop out saw the quality assurance of the game flop hard.

Freddy in my game it dosnt open it chest plate and when I charge it I can’t exit Freddy
Markiplied had that same issue. He got inside of Freddy by using the charging station and then got inside the West Arcade/Fazcade elevator which made Freddy spit him out. I don’t know how replicable that result is, but it’s worth a try.
