Hope you guys are loving my new song “Wanted”!! The message of this song is really special to me because it was written from God's perspective to those who have been hurt by so many things in life that they couldn't control and as a result, they feel lost, damaged or unworthy. If this is you, the Father has your heart and he wants to restore it! His love goes so far beyond what you can imagine and he wants you to know that you ARE wanted! I'll be 66 in May. I was abused in 1 way or another since a very young girl until in my 40's. I have been a Christian for 40 yrs. The effects from all that happened take their toll in many ways. This song hits so deep. Life is a rollercoaster. Ups and downs, bright moments as well as moments so dark you can't see your hand in front of your face. At times I have lost sight of him. But as a loving father always does. He stands saying, "I'm here." We just have to open our ears to him. There is nothing here worth more then the relationship with our Heavenly Father.

Thank you for this song. I saw the other video that you did for this song and I cried so much. I was sexually abused by my dad and didn't understand why he did it. I did feel unwanted and used. I didn't think I could find love. I showed my dad that I was trash and I let guys do whatever they wanted. GOD did get ahold of me through my boyfriend(now husband) to show me what His love is all about. I went to several care groups to help me deal with the pain. GOD did restore my relationship with my dad. It took me many years to forgive him, but I did. GOD blew me away when my dad called me and asked me to forgive him for what he did to me. I was so shocked. I know this was from GOD. He is in Heaven and I am so looking forward to seeing him again. GOD is always good.

I’m struggling to overcome heroin addiction. It has been several years of struggle and many overdoses but I am still here about to enter treatment again for the numerous time. The beginning of this song where it says “I was there the moment that it happened...you lost your heart that day...” reminds me of the day I picked up that first bag of dope. But the rest of the song reminds me of the hope that exists. Thank you Danny Gokey. If y’all pray plz keep me in prayer. I have a whole life I want to live and family that loves me and thus hearts that I keep breaking including Gods. I pray that he’ll take my life, change my life, and save it.

This is crazy. Not long ago i screamed asking God why didn’t he ever listen to me . I said i wasn’t wanted that it seems like i mean nothing to anyone , and i seem unlovable bc of all the pain i’ve been going through ... to me , this is God answering me. He’s telling me i’m wanted . My name means "beloved" and I've always thought that was quite ironic, since I was always alone and got mentally & physically abused by my parents & siblings (and grandma and other family members, mentally)
Lately I've been wondering (even more than before, I mean) and crying my heart out at this question: why did my parents name me beloved if they never loved me?
