When a band starts showing they can produce variety and not just make every album sound the same, that's a keeper band. The Plots one of those for sure. Love this song

Alejandro Violeta I think some songs are good, not every song, in my opinion I think they should've stay more heavy, then again we don't know what was to come in the future for them. Chester had a very distinct voice, a very powerful, raspy, and at times whiny, which made him a great heavy singer. I was alittle disappointed in the their newest album, as I only liked "Sharp Edges" and "Heavy". We shall find out more about the plot though when the full album drops. Honestly I'm expecting to be alittle disappointed where this album has only 10 songs and lasting a total run time of 35 minutes. Also it being about 10 times lighter than HISD, which is the best album they've produced by far.
MaxMcRichy but you said a band can have variety so they dont sound the same, and this is totally different of metalcore as the LP albums was totally different from nu/alternative, why is this a good sound change and theirs a bad one?
I found TPIY during the First Born era, when I was as metalcore a kid as you will find. And I still am. But my God, what Landon has been creating since 2015 is some of the best music in all of music. Instrumentally, lyrically, and emotionally. His versatility is impressive, his humanity admirable.

Damn - they're really making some bold artistic choices on this album, considering their origins. Reminds me of Incubus back when they were crawling out of the nu-metal wasteland they'd somehow been grouped into. Pretty hyped to listen this album in full.

I’m not hugely into TPIY. I’ve heard a couple songs by them and I decided to keep an eye on this next album. As much as I love heavier music, I can say that this song is great. This band has shown a good amount of versatility and I’m personally excited for this album

32zelaw sucks there’s only 10 songs on the album which is 35 mins long which means each song is in range of 3.5 minutes long. But it’ll be worth it.

I met Landon at a Syracuse NY show a few years back when The Plot In You played at a Church, I think it was just as they just got done with Rise Records. Landon is like my idol and I got to meet him outside after the show by chance, we smoked a cigarette and talked for a while with two of my other friends. Landon even left to talk to other fans but said he’d be right back and came back right after. He is just a genuine good person and a hard working musician/business man. Your talented and good with your fans, I knew nothing could stop you guys from doing great things. I know it’s a slight chance you or someone from the band might see this comment but keep the music going, fan of your music since Wife Beater “Vessels”. 🙌🏻
