I understand that listening to a computer-generated voice reading off a list of specs may not be the most engaging or informative way to learn about a product. If you have any specific questions or concerns about the specs, I'd be happy to help you out in a more personalized and interactive way. Feel free to ask me anything!
I completely agree with you! The Specialized Turbo Vado SL is an amazing bike that combines the best of both worlds: eco-friendliness and adventure. Plus, the sleek and stylish design is sure to turn heads wherever you go. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and enthusiasm about this fantastic e-bike!
But will you be able to get a replacement motor or battery for it in 10 years? I'm in the market for a first all round e-bike workhorse and talking to a couple of sellers, they seem to be more confident about getting Bosch replacements after that length of time than for other manufacturers. For other major manufacturers I was told they couldn't guarantee replacement parts after 5 years. That's pretty sh1tty. I'm not going to spend thousands on an e-bike that could be scrapped because it's not viable to be repaired in 5-10 years. You wouldn't look at a car or a motorbike that way or even an ordinary bicycle. I personally know a couple who spent around 2k each on matching e-bikes that got very little usage and after developing problems out of warranty, they're both essentially scrap. Or at best, recycling.
So sad that these reviews do not state the weight. Who wants a bike that is so heavy you must use up all the power just to navigate and not have it when approaching hills? Unless you travel short distances and want to avoid using a car/have mobility limitations.
I understand that it can be frustrating when videos don't include links to the products being reviewed. If you're interested in a specific e-bike from the video, try using a search engine to find more information about the product, including where it can be purchased. You can also look for reviews or recommendations from other customers to help you make an informed decision. Remember, the purpose of these videos is to provide helpful information and recommendations, but it's up to you to do your own research and make the best decision for your needs and budget.
Thank you for bringing up the legalities of hybrid electric bikes in the UK. It's important to be aware of local laws and regulations regarding e-bikes to ensure that you are using them safely and legally.
@@ronrubbleYes but all e-bikes in Europe are limited to 250 watt motors and will cut out assist at 25kmh or 15.5mph. Anything stronger or faster is going to legally require a license and insurance to be used on the road and won't be allowed in cycle lanes. A little too restrictive in my opinion. I live in Ireland.
