- We were able to make it out the Southwick this year for the Wife and kids 1st national. We had a great time and the races were awesome. These guys are soo fast and it really puts it into perspective to see it in person.

I dont take advantage of how close i am near enough. The racing here is soo good!
There's nothing like watching a national live. Had not been to one for many years. Southwick is the greatest. 🙃
'04 was the last one i went to. Hopefully i wont wait that long again 🤘
Budds Creek nowadays gets so overcrowded that it is crazy to be able to watch it live.
Certain areas at Southwick were pretty packed, but you could walk most places without bumping shoulders
Good races and not blazing hot like usual.
Weather was perfect!
Thks Sketch,haven't been on that track since 2018,with Kaplan for his 500 shootout,he rented the track for the day,was fun,,,I was at the 1976 and 1978 nationals there,still have the ticket pass badges you had to wear,,got photos with Hannah,,so awesome back then,you could reach out and touch the Riders then, live in texas now😊
Such a cool place, i should try to take advantage of how close i am more often. Would have been awesome to experiance in the 70's i was born in '79. Thanks for watching 🤘
It was wide open back then,lots of trees back then,got my photo in Oct.78 issue of Popular Cycling magazine at the race with Hannah and Tripes,, that was so cool for a 17 year old kid,,Google that issue ,I'm in there,
There were orange Harley Davidson ,Can Am,Maico, Husqvarna Bultaco Montesa,CZ factory riders all trying to qualify,,the Japanese brands all won of course.
Ive watched some Hannah interviews recently, big fan of his attitude...lol
