She's the plot device to have more nostalgia bait and bring anything else they wanna throw in to the film like spider Gwen played by the same actress who played in the Andrew Garfield films to give you fools another weepy eye moment as they both lost a version of a person who looks exactly like the other that they loved. And can have romantic heart warming moment that will make you gush at scream like raging morons about.
There’s sooo many characters that can do that - including Dr Strange

Considering she’s showing up in Multiverse of Madness they might keep some of the stranger aspects of her character like being from an alternate dimension. Maybe in that dimension she was their Captain America except for with powers?

Marvel is creatively bankrupt. Just make a superman clone that can teleport, is from planet lesbo, and gets her powers from cosmic rays because theynhave no better ideas. I'm honestly suprised they didnt shave half her head, they got snark and looks like a dude, half shaved head would have been perfect.
What they failed to mention is that Scarlet Witch’s son Wiccan created the Utopian Parallel far in the future when he accepted his destiny and ascends into godhood. It was through his presence that she received her powers.

Having dark skin doesn’t make you Latinx, the same way having white skin doesn’t make Superman a caucasian. Superman is white, Chavez is brown, but neither one of them is human, so neither of them is caucasian or latinx. As long as we’re making a comparison though, Superman was raised on Earth, and America Chavez grew up on another planet in a different reality, making her more comparable to Supergirl, who came to Earth as a teenager like Chavez did.

For those who is wondering why her names is America, its because of Billy Kaplan her God/creator. Her parents decided to name her after Billy's birth land, which is America.
Nope, not any more. America made all that up. In reality she was a normal earth girl who got powers from a medical procedure with a pocket dimension but lost her mom and little sister in an unfortunate accident.

Marvel keeps creating original diverse characters to team up cause they are both diverse, why not do that with your existing characters. Miles and Chavez would get along great

America was name after the Italian explorer Amerigo Vespucci. The name americus is Latin based which Spanish and Italian are based from.

Utopian Parallel is supposed to be this perfect place and all that...So when she had a solo comic that failed. In one comic she literally steals the glory moment of Captain America Punching out Hitler. Or how the evil robots in the first couple of issues are white male robots. She was pandering real hard at that time to the Woke crowd.
