    Can you set up timer for on and off automatically?

    • @MyCleverHouse
      @MyCleverHouse  6 лет назад +2

      Yup! So on the home screen of your Kasa App, tap your plug name or device name (however you labeled it). It will bring up a screen just for that plug. In the bottom left hand corner is a "schedule" button (also "Away" and "Timer" buttons). Tap "Schedule" if you want it to come on and off at specific times. Or tap "Timer" if you want it to come on after a certain number of minutes or hours.

    Just bought me one just try it out and see if I like it and I do so I'm going to buy me a couple more. The one I have now I have it hook up to my fish aquarium light. The other two I'm going to buy will be for my lamp and my fan in my room.

    Great video I am planning to used theses on my garage lights. I just purchased the HS110 with energy monitoring. Have you been able to control the lights from anywhere? I get an error when I try to turn off the lights once I leave my WiFi area.

      Thanks! When you install the Kasa app from your phone's app store (Google Play Store or Apple App Store) it should ask you to set up an account and verify your email. Once you click the link in your confirmation email I believe you SHOULD be able to switch your plugs on and off from anywhere.
      However, if you never locate the email and confirm your email address via the link, I think you are confined to switching them on and off on your local wifi network.
      Hope this helps- thanks again for watching.
