I accidently used some powered sugar, mistaking for the corn starch...butthat turned out so GOOD..and I made it again with a blue oyster that I grew..this is so AWESOME...this dish is amazingly yummy, lite...you could use your salad spinner to get some of the extra fried oil off of them...how do they get so crunchy? my goodness....mushroom chips thin and crispy..palang panola dipping sauce is like american cucumber / sugar salad..sooo yummy.

Hi po, yung mga na ka repack po na mushroom chicharon sa market usually nag uundergo na po yun sa dehydration process using special equipment, yung iba po may "de-oil" na tinatawag tapos binebake po ung mga mushroom. If you want you can try to bake it sa oven to dehydrate 😊

Hi there! Texture should be crunchy to soft like deep fried chicken skin. 😊 It also depends on the thickness of the mushrooms, I've used fresh mushrooms for this recipe.
Look at the spelling, it may vary from country to country, which country are you from? Here in Philippines, Chicharon means skin crackling either from pork skin or chicken skin. So this is my version using mushroom
