you got the way the turbos work wrong, they are parallel meaning they are both always on throughout the rpm range

glad someone else noticed that he implied the turbos were sequential

It made to car and driver's top 10 from 90 to 96 . That sums up the quality of this car. But what is timeless is its design, both exterior and interior.

......as everyone has stated....think of the car as two 3 cylinder engines put together. each side has its own turbo, intercooler, throttle body, and full intake system that in factory form, only meet at the mass air flow sensor and air filter.

Second turbo doesn't just "kick in". They both work in parallel feeding the engine boost at the same time

A few incorrect facts, but I'll like it. 240 and 260 were only "z" not "zx" until the later models 280zx and this 300zx. As stated below, turbos are not sequential, they are true parallel twin turbos.

      +Peter Liang remember the 280 was just the 280z till 1979 when the 280zx 2+2 launched I used to own a 78 280z

Well 300 horsepower was rated for the TT version where- as the N/A rating was anywhere from 202hp-225hp for the 1990'S anyway.

Um really? Its called a 240Zed and 260Zed not Zedx, the 300zx was never in fast and the furious except the scene were all the cars pour out of the garage into the streets which nobody even noticed. If your going to do a car review and have people take you serious you need to no what your talking about. Your clearly not a Z owner. The only thing you got right is its a classic.
