- hellooooooo so I have a halloween doll repaint for yall today! Me and a bunch of other doll artists have created some demon dolls for ya! The only requirement was that we had to use 17 inch monster high dolls. I used a 17 inch frightfully tall draculaura. Anyway, i hope yall enjoy this video and all the other videos from the talented participants in this collab.

tiny brushes:
-princeton velvettouch round 20/0(my fav)
-wargamer "the psycho" army painter brush (its actually called the psycho, this ones quite good. its not as stiff as the one above so i find i have a little less control but its still a nice brush for details)
-arteje 100/0 camlon micro paint brush( this ones quite a bit stiffer than the other two but its a super tiny brush. its a bit hard to control but probably the finest brush i have)
I use a liquid brush shaper i got from blick awhile ago with all these brushes. this has really helped me with their longevity and keeping their shape which is kind of difficult with really fine brushes.

I love love love her puffy "been crying" eyes. It's one of my favorite things you do. She actually looked really mean before you added more details to her eyes lol. And the tutu was so beautiful with how you layered the feathers.

gorgeous! the dress in particular brought back a memory of a book i owned when i was maybe 8, and obsessed with fairies: "fairie-ality: the fashion collection from the house of ellwand". it's all photography of miniature 'outfits' made from bits of bark and moss, and there are quite a few dresses that use feathers for the skirt. haven't thought about that book in ages. i love how the horns turned out especially. can't believe how massive this doll is compared to the ones you usually work with.

Thanks for using Tacky glue! I have been using it for years and I don’t understand why other doll artists don’t use it more. It works so great for so many applications. She looks fantastic! My daughter was a ballerina for a company for years, so it’s wonderful to see such a beautiful doll!

Hey! A tip I learned from Dollightful is to plunge the head into hot water until it’s squishy & it’ll be MUCH easier to get it off, hope this helps!

You could always use those "styling heads" for if you want to do bigger faceups. They have Barbie and Disney ones at 5 Below for $5, and you can sometimes get em at dollar stores, too.

Aaaaaah....! That faceup is EVERYTHING and more. I love the blotchy colours, but those eyes, those eyelashes! I love it so much. You're so good with those, I call witchcraft (jk). That dress is sublime. So interesting to watch! Really love how you made that. (Craft foam is so useful.)

You mentioned you didn't know what the actual name for ballet shoes is, and it just so happens that I started doing ballet a few months ago, so I actually know this! Shoes for the more common ballet moves (like plie and stuff) are called technique shoes, and the kind you made for the doll (which you use to go on your toes, hence why they're flat) are called pointe shoes, as the technique is called pointe

I probably sound mean but I'm not, but she reminds me of like an albino demon so gorgeous and her puffy eyes makes me think she was force to dance for eternity and so she cried coz she couldnt get a break that's what I think ik I'm wrong but like still stunning

Idk if anyone asked this, but I thought i would. What did you mean by "used to" have scoliosis? I have scoliosis and from what I know, it is a permanent thing?(Atleast in my case, I have it genetically, so I could be wrong)
I have a metal rod on my spine that straightened the curve out. I still technically have scoliosis but I got corrective surgery
