Just wanted to say that this format/style of video is the exact sort of thing I am hoping to find when I start this sort of research. Beyond refreshing to see content untethered by sensationalism or marketing; this was not only informative but saturated in information I didn't know I could ever make much sense of. Cheers!

Your videos are very well done Matt, not just this one, but all I've watched. They show just how much you put into all the research you've done. Doug is a really good source. Balance is a tricky word, but it's what keeps the strong and health animals around for us the admire. Thanks again for sharing.

Great information! We saw some last September of course very far away. Took video and one was limping. I’m working on another trip to take time and enjoy.

Elk pay the bill...wolves do not...a single bull elk generates $6,000 (hunting license fee $730 with average success 1 every 8 years so...$730x8=more than $6k) these license fees are paid to the state and go to biologists and habitat...FOR ALL ANIMALS. Up until the last couple of years money for state animals came only from license fees both hunting and fishing. Oh, who is going to pay for the wolves killing cattle and sheep that graze on public lands...because domestic livestock are "sitting ducks" for wolves...who pays the rancher....WHO....hunting and fishing fees..that is who....finally, the federal forest service gets no money from hunting and fishing....the feds want to sell trees and grazing fees....the state owns the animals.
