I'd have to recommend some more ocean, he's got a really nice style. Legend has it the was recorded as a freestyle, hence the jeez from the studio at the end. 'brick or Bat' has a similar style to this, 'hftv exclusive bars' shows off more of his skill.
Another great reaction. And you started with his first big song. You should reaction to his songs in order & see how far hes gone. I believe ‘High Street’ & ‘Snakes & Blaggers’ are next.
Having checked out your videos I really think you’ll connect with Mic Reckless in a big way. He’s such an interesting character. You respond to the emotion in songs and no one lays it out like Mic Reckless. Iranian british, fucked up life. Has a history of mental health problems and posting about his struggles with suicide. Such a legend. Really don’t know where to suggest starting with him but ‘Pathways’ is deep. Incredibly moving song. Or his Most recent fire in the booth. You’ll see how diverse our rap scene is after seeing Mic.
Tbezza really appreciate the heads up. I will most definitely add his name to my list. Having dealt with similar issues in my life, I am drawn to artists who find a way to use their pain to heal themselves and educate others. Thanks again.
Are you familiar with Tre Mission? Canadian grime artist, done a lot of work in the UK alongside UK artists. Probably the only foreign artist truly recognised in the UK grime scene.
Some UK fire ocean wisdom cadet rapman English Frank Kano dizzy rascal Devlin Wiley Stormzy Harry shotta pmoney jme jaykae and of course Dave mic righteous akala and lowkey many more mate Giggs krept and konan getts 🔥🔥🔥
Do your thing mate. Had me laughing. If you get a chance check out Split Prophets 2 kids. Don't think anyone's done it yet because it's not all G' d up but it's dope hip hop.
Really like this guy's spitting...so the sun is coming out again cos it's been dark since 2Pac died....him & Chip Fu??? What a deadly combo they'd be!!😁😁😁
To see how he progressed from Walkin' (which is a sick track) to his almost disgustingly smooth flow on 'Eye Contact' really makes me proud of him. He has never just kicked back and thought 'Aight, I'm talented enough now', he's always kept on the grind, always trying to get better, flows, breath control, lyricism, all that. For flow, I rate Eye Contact the #1 song I've ever heard. His lyrics ain't deep or complex like Avelino/Wretch 32/Lowkey or hard hitting like Akala/Jun Tzu/Mic Righteous/Devlin but I don't see any of them flow like my man Ocean.
@@CanadianDadReacts OOh! That's awesome :) I was not expecting you to see the comment, I mostly left it for others that may drop by your video. Then again, your video, so I should have known ;) I'm glad it's on your list and can't wait to see what you think!

If you like the more aggressive sounding storytelling rap (like me 😂) then you should definitely check out ghetts "karma" (it's old but definitely not to be missed) because IMO it's pure storytelling genius at its finest! 🔥... You should also check out... Mic righteous fire in the booth 3 (all 4 are 🔥 thou) & his no more 2 freestyle English Frank 100 bars of truth 2/ ftp(fuck the police) & his fire in the booth P-moneys mista jam freestyle Ocean wisdom real smooth & ting dun ft method man The four owls assasination & think twice Dabbala psychoville Berna's blackbox Cadet gang gang (rip 😔) Aitch straight rhymes Dappy straight facts & trill Oh and if u like fast rap then you may like Harry shotta's track animal. He's a Drum and bass emcee, a genre where they spit over 175bpm beats & often do live sets up to 4 hours long and he actually initially broke Eminems rap God record for the most lyrics in a 4 minute track I believe? He's super clear to listen to as well 🔥 enjoy! 🤗 (PS I don't expect a reaction.... Just wanted to share some amazing artists ♥)
Wow! Thank you for taking the time to send me this. I’ve reacted to a few of these tracks so far. A couple of cats here I haven’t heard of, a couple I recognize as grime artists. Trying to keep the channel underground hip hop, but will check out the tracks. Thanks again 🙏
@@CanadianDadReacts They're all UK artists hun so pretty much everything u hear from the UK is gonna be underground as there's not many artists here that actually blow up big, IDK if u realise why or not but I'm pretty sure that the fact that the UK doesn't have and big labels that are 100% just for the hip-hop genre probably has a lot to do with it.... Sure we have Sony etc, but they aren't just focused on hip-hop and nothing else and I think that makes a huge difference when it comes to promotion & networking?! X Anyhoo.... Hope u enjoy the list and I'll be so fucking excited if I see you've done the ghetts track and p-moneys mista jam freestyle, because I recommend those two till ik blue in the face, but even though they are classics (ask anyone).... Unfortunately I rarely get anyone who ever actually does them so at the very least, pls holla at me if u just listen & nothing more cos I'd love to hear what u think xxx 😘 xxx thanks! ♥
Please try mic righteous... no more part 2.. or because I love you .. or fitb 3 .. all mic righteous.. no 1 btr man.. makes us proud to be British!!!!! 76 subscriber here!!!!
Not just 1 take but when he just 18! Dirty Dike at the end with a Jeez! He was so amazed a Wizzie's skill.

BTW.... That "gheez" u hear at the end of this track was from oceans manager I think and it's because he recorded that whole track in one take! 🔥
