Dude, hip-hop moved over to the UK! We have many Hip-hop giants such as Akala, Lowkey, Mic Righteous, Chester P, Phi Life Cipher, Jam Baxter, Ed Scissor, The Four Owls and many, many more. If you don't know these guys you are missing out of massive section of hip hop history. People like Akala and Lowkey (both have doctorates) have pushed the highly intelligent conscious rap game further than anybody else. Jam Baxter and Ed Scissor will give you some of the most abstract visual lyricism you will have ever hear. Chester P and Phi Life Cipher are grand daddies of UK hip hop. All of these are poets of the highest caliber. Keep up the good work man. Love from the UK.
People are missing out on UK hip-hop so badly!!! Maybe look up some material from High Focus records My favourite stuff is from Verb T & Illinformed at the moment.
Much Love my man! tthank you for accepting my request via donation!! I knew Ocean would blow your mind! I'm telling you, UK be where the heat is at! Keep them coming, I'll be here for all of that real Hip Hop Sh*t! Peace
@@opticbiscuits that was this track. The record was something like so many words per minute for a charted song or a hit song. I’m not sure if walkin’ charted, so idk if the record was legitimately broken, or if it was an unofficial thing. Harry Shottah also demolished the record but probably unofficially too.
More Ocean to react to, Brick or Bat, Eye Contact, Blessed ft Dizzie Rascal, Real Smooth ft the Four Owls. Also check out his Fire in the Booth. Cheers from the UK

This song held the title of most words per second for a long time. Even beating Eminems Rap God. Not sure what the current title holder is, but definitely a good title to get in a debut single
Man there is so much out there these days keeping up with all of the good artists is impossible. Even more so if you spread yourself over multiple genres...
Your not the only one mr lloyd whos late to the party, as i live in britain and have only heard of ocean a couple weeks ago. Im only now exploreing him for the first time. Fire reaction
@@arsenaljan Hard for me to pick a favourite to be honest he's got so many great tracks,I tend to enjoy his slower stuff but it depends on what mood I'm in
@@kevintwine2315 yeah i agree with that, there’s not a lot of tracks that I didn’t fuck with. But this was the first track I ever heard of him and I absolutely love the old school beats so this one just has it all for me personally lol.
Wizzy has been changing the British scene for some time now. Some tracks from Ocean that I'd recommend: Voices in my head (My personal favourite of his) Ting Dun ft. Method Man (This goes hard) Drilly Rucksack (One of his latest releases, but it's sick) You should check out "Dabbla - Psychoville" and also "Dirty Dike - Pork Pie" too if you get chance. All of these guys are in the scene and have done collabs together. They're shredding it at the moment.
I love this song and listen to it often. I listened to some of his newer stuff and didn't care for it as much. Walkin hits the spot for me. The music is amazing matched with his voice and flow. I just wish he stuck with that style of music.
voices in my head.....story telling at its finest....check it out...also dabbla and jam baxter, diry dike, the 4 owls..I could go on and on...like the American reactions to the UK scene...wizzy is killing it right now.
I had the exact same reaction when I heard this song, which was the first Ocean Wisdom track I ever heard. Probably the best rhyme flow I've heard since Del the Funky Homosapien
