Unfortunately I loved this poi at first, but if they don’t work properly they aren’t good poi. First the colors were amazing and I enjoy their feel and body rolls worked well. Unfortunately I found it difficult to turn off with ease and would have to go through all the modes. I also had one problem poi that wouldn’t charge upon arrival but they fixed it quickly. Shortly after one of my handles didn’t work properly and they gave me advice to fix it on my own. I just kept Trying to fix it and eventually realized after a week it was getting worse, plus one of my capsules broke on a pretty low impact move. I decided it wasn’t worth it to keep trying to fix this stuff on my own and just wanted to return and pay the 20%. Despite having contacted them originally about issues prior to the return window, which was never resolved, they said now it’s outside the return window. Cool poi but not worth the risk if you get a faulty set. not a cool policy to deny replacement to fix on your own, then deny a return when I customer tries their best to fix it per your recommendation and had to wait on the policy for original poi broken.
That sucks to hear. Unfortunately one of mine has an issue now where it won't charge or turn on. I think I accidentally put the battery in backwards and it didn't have a safeguard. Sucks cause I really liked the custom color mode. Flowtoys capsules in Flow On Fire heads all the way now. Pretty much bomb proof especially with the newer chips having the battery soldered to the board
Hmmmm. Well from looking at the specs the Ultrapoi case has a 20mm diameter and the Flowtoys has a 21mm diameter. I feel a bit of sanding of the polycarbonate could do the trick. Start out with 60 grit and work my way to 2000. Reduce the diameter a bit, get a nice smooth finish, and use the tiniest bit of the high performance silicone lube I used on some leaf spring bushings. For me it's worth a shot. I'd much rather avoid vinyl heads in favor of silicone for health and environmental reasons. I really like how forgiving silicone is when you have an impact as well. It would be awesome if more prop makers tried to make their products more universal. I understand that companies want their brands to remain pure and their props intact however flow arts was founded on diy props. There is still a large group of people in the flow community who prefer to mix and match components and mod parts to get the perfect props.
Need more nature flow sessions. You a beast!

Yo would love to see that river flow video, it's been too long!
How well do the v2 capsules fit in these heads?
They dont. Well they do if you push really hard but good luck ever getting them out. Think they made them specifically so they wouldn't fit
