    Such a great place with such amazing history. It's all just very complicated!

    There appear to be lots of changes and improvements since I was last there. Must go again soon.

      Bletchley Park is always a great day out (for adults and older kids)! There's so much to see that you can definitely visit multiple times! Thanks for watching!

    There's so much to take in. Very interesting and truly amazing what they achieved. Still can't get my head around the coding machinery.

      Absolutely! What they achieved with such limited 'computing' power was amazing!

    I live around the corner from Bletchley Park! As a kid "35 years ago" it was closed to the public, we used to sneak in passed the security guard, and go fishing in the lake!

      Haha. Wow... and did you have any idea about the history of the place at the time?

      @@ExploreHomeRepeat Yeah we knew what it was and it was a great place to explore. There were old tanks in a sort of farm building "knocked down now" that we used to climb on them but could never open the doors. We never did any damage it was just an adventure and loads of fun hiding from the security guard who was a bit like Blakey from on the buses 🤣 great channel I'll give you a sub 👍 All the best Tezza

      Wow. What a memory to have! You couldn't do that these days!

    I think children should taken to Bletchley park and the national museum of computing as I don’t think they really appreciate computers, phones and tablets.

    • @ExploreHomeRepeat
      @ExploreHomeRepeat  Год назад

      Yes absolutely! It's important that they appreciate where all of these devices have come from and also appreciate what these people did in secrecy for our country. I think we were just pointing out that the specific exhibits themselves are not really aimed at kids particularly. Thanks for watching and commenting. Don't forget to subscribe for more videos. Just outside Milton Keynes? Think you may need to edit that bit as Bletchley has been part of Milton Keynes for as long as I can remember and I’m old!

      Hi. Thanks for watching. We're not from Milton Keynes, so we don't have this exact knowledge, I'm afraid. Whilst I'm sure everyone watching will get what we mean, keep in mind, we're just a husband and wife trying to give families a guide to days out. It's just a hobby. We're not the local tourist information. If people need exact local information about the formation and geography of every town we visit, we're probably not the place on the internet to go to. I would hope most of our subscribers and watchers would understand that. We try to be as accurate as possible, but were not professionals. We'll try better next time.

      Hi, yes, we were taking pictures and video there, and there were no problems at all. Thanks for watching and don't forget to subscribe if you haven't already! Matt and Issy

    I worked at Bletchley Park in 1970 in the canteen during school holidays.Lived a few minutes away but had no idea about the wartime code breaking.

      Wow! It is amazing that every single one of those people involved in the code breaking kept so perfectly quiet , for so long. Amazing. Thanks for watching! Matt and Issy
