►A LITTLE ABOUT ME: I'm Dean Wolfe, a mostly self-taught Canadian guitarist/composer/multi-instrumentalist/singer/producer/performer. I started out as a full time musician, on the road at age 17-19, then went part-time ever since, holding 'day-careers' like chef (red seal papers), spiritual health care while raising a family. As a producer I've made hundreds of my own songs for media and award winning documentaries etc. I've been in several bands including a prog/jazz fusion act nFuze, playing International Jazz festivals and jazz clubs. I mostly abandoned the prog genre in the '90s but have returned to it now with vigour 30 years later. My own prog band was rejected by record labels as "too progressive' in the late 80s, so i explored grunge, pop rock and alternative, alt-folk / acoustic fingerstyle guitar and ambient electronic as well. Recently i found shoegaze and lo-fi as well. I have a home studio that is ramping up for lots more music so stay tuned.

I get such a kick out of these guys. The music is by far the best part, but the schtick is cool, too. Let's try not to take ourselves (or our leaders) too seriously, right?
The vibe I get is "Can't we all just get along?" If the world leaders ACTUALLY got together and played music, we might be living in a better world. Peace through humor, good music, and good food would be my answer.
P. S. Although you couldn't really see it here, Trump's got some major talent on guitar. This particular song showcased the bass, but I still think Trump's my favorite.😁

@@deanwolfechannel Job for a cowboy is Nick Shinzs (bassist) other main band, and then havoc. I would like to recommend to you another nuclear power trio song, called the fusion collusion, this has easily some of his best basswork for me, absolutely crazy, and then for job for a cowboy, which is a death metal band - be warned in case it's not your thing, their song sun of nihility has some of the absolutely thickest bass I've ever heard, like it's POWERFUL in the mix, if you have some audio gear that's sub heavy, try it.
Don't get the protein pancakes at IHOP. I shit my pants on the drive home.
I avoid their videos but I love their music. I got a recommendation to listen to Nuclear Power Trio last year and I cursed myself for having promised (thanks to a certain Japanese band) I'd never again reject a band over a gimmick.
But it turns out that they have the songwriting to go with the technical skill, and I can emotionally connect with their music more than most instrumental bands. The actual music is very escapist, so isn't the best match for being reminded about politics, which is why I tend to listen and not watch.
