Coconut Oil Gummies

  • Two flavors of gummies using coconut oil. I made two different flavors, but if you want to do one flavor/batch you can combine amounts (double everything). I’m going to list the ingredients I used so you will be able to recreate the gummies I made originally in this video. Following the ingredient list I’ll give a short description of what methods I used and how it’s done.
WARNING: SUPER STICKY MESS IS LIKELY
If you want to use infused coconut oil you can. You can easily find a recipe for infused coconut oil online.
original recipe I used is found here: • Canna Gummies with Coc...
    For the red skulls:
1/4 cup of water based fruit juice like Herbert’s strawberry lemonade
    1/8 cup of coconut oil
1/2 ounce of unflavored gelatin like Knox (2 packets)
3 ounces of flavored strawberry gelatin like Jello (small box)
    For the green tiki men:
1/4 cup of mainly water and a splash of fruit syrup (from a cup of fruit)
    1/8 cup of coconut oil
1/2 ounce of unflavored gelatin like Knox (2 packets)
3 ounces of flavored lime gelatin like Jello (small box)
    Spray molds with cooking spray.
Bring to boil the water solution and oil over medium heat.
    Whisk until thoroughly combined.
Add unflavored gelatin and whisk until well combined.
Add flavored gelatin and whisk until well combined.
Continuously stir and using a spatula scrape sides of sauce pan.
Turn heat to low and start to distribute into molds using a measuring spoon or candy dropper (I’m not sure a small candy dropper like I’ve shown would work, it seems to harden fast so I’d recommend just a measuring spoon here)
Place molds in refrigerator for two hours to chill and solidify.
Coat gummies with corn starch or flour to prevent sticking.
Store in airtight container in fridge for up to 2 or 3 weeks.
I hope you enjoy! Comment below if you have tried this recipe! Please subscribe! :)

It’s easier to use a double boiler pot with pour spout. Mix with a fork. No need to spray molds. Mix your jello and gelatin together before hand. 4 tablespoons water, 2 tablespoons of your canna oil. Takes 4 min or less.

Yes the flavored gelatin is the sweetened part.. the unflavored gelatin is not. And some of that fruit juice had sugar in it too. @eeyorehoney66 2 года назад +5

@@LemonadeAly I have seen a lot of use by content creators who are not using it correctly. In my case I am making gummies and using infused coconut oil. So I use liquid sunflower lecithin and it gets mixed with the infused coconut oil. I use 1-2 teaspoons of the lecithin to 1/4-1/3 cup of oil and 2 cups total water for the recipe. I then mix the rest of the wet ingredients and the oil together. If you can see an oil slick on top of the mixture then you know you need more lecithin. You can do this over low heat and you actually want to whisk it to emulsify it. So you want to give it a good whisking and then let it settle to check for the oil slick. If you need to add more you just take a small amount of coconut oil and add the lecithin and beat it with a fork (think beating eggs with a fork) and then add it. After everything is emulsified that's when I add my Jello and geletin. I hope that helps!
