Blair was the "perfect girl" in appearances, and maybe Chuck DID "ruin" her, or maybe he showed her she could be who she was from zero, and embrace/accept her "bad" side (that we saw a lot during her fights with S, Jenny, or how she treated her "minions"), but whatever... Louis too, him being a Prince, he kind of... ¿unconsciously? tried to make Blair a perfect candidate to marry, he loved her, but he loved her sweet side, the one that loved watching old movies with Audrey Hepburn, or walking and talking around Paris, He didn't quite accept her schemes planning and her "bad side"... I loved her with Louis, and with a more mature Chuck... but if I had to choose her happy ending, it would have to be with Dan really... And before you throw rotten tomatoes at me, let me tell you, he wasn't perfect either and made some... questionable things, BUT... he really, he TRULY loved BOTH of her sides... So... One thing that annoyed me about Gossip Girl to no end is how all the characters who are not from Upper East Side (or those who really thought UES was toxic such as Lola or Vanessa) were always written off in a bad way or fell victim to lazy writing. Yes, we get it UES is the most wonderful place on earth to live but don't you think even turning a Prince into a manipulator was too much? I don't count Dan, and I'm not surprised he gets away with everything in the end because he's always been a simp for UES women and a sucker for all those people anyway, so of course he was gonna be the writers' favourite.
Yeah honestly the UES characters did the worst things in the show and still got their happy endings i feel like a lot of these side characters were justified in hating them or being upset.
