We as humans will be offended according to Luke 17:1. What offends one may not offend another & even if we don’t understand it, we cannot minimize another’s pain which caused them to take offense. Although not a requirement of granting forgiveness, empathy and acknowledgment of an offense is an important part in overcoming an offense. The Bible asks the person who was offended to take the initiative to go to the offender and discuss the issue directly w them and to do it in love. Forgiveness is not impossible, but it is worth acknowledging that true forgiveness is very challenging and because it’s challenging, we need more discussions like this alongside of some concrete, practical steps on how to actually forgive.
I 100 percent agree with Sister Natalie Grant We , you and I we need to be willing to remember the time ( s ) when you and I .... sinned , offended , hurt , a person and that person actually extended complete / sincere forgiveness to you and myself. That is a precious, precious act to have given to the person that actually did the hurtful thing ( s ). Forgiveness is a very serious thing to God because I believe that unforgiveness can really send someone down a destructive path. And we need to learn how to truly forgive and remember the sin no more and give the offender the opportunity and patience needed to correct the offense. Let us not expect the offender to make the correction right away because change takes work and patience from the offended. Please read Luke 17:3-4 about forgiveness. Thanks

This is definitely nothing but the whole truth because God forgive us so if we say that we love him than we asked God help us to forgive others that deeply hurt you.
