She`s covering her own ass. Coming across as a calm, responsible reasonable person so not to give herself a bad impression to her bosses. The wage rise was BS, she reeked of arrogance and was playing mind games with that guy, deflecting the situation as if he was being over the top. What he should do is write a letter to the business owners, although still doubt he`ll get anywhere. There is a lot of arrogance within businesses. They used to say, a happy ship is an efficient ship and unfortunately many businesses haven`t learned this. So glad I am now retired and out of industry, the pressures of holding down a job today must be tremendous on young people.

Yeah, she's evil. The fact that she threw a potato at his head in anger is enough to validate what he's saying about her. The whole nice routine was just a way to rub salt in his wounds. If she'd gotten angry at him he would've felt validated. Instead she stayed calm, deprived him of the satisfaction of angry quitting, and caused him to question his decision. Devious.

At one point in my life I worked for a construction company and we were tearing off an old roof and getting ready to put new roof on a house. My boss ( owner of the company ) thought is was funny to whip an extension cord that was unhooked from drill and on the roof running between my legs as I was kneeling down for a Intentional NUT SHOT. He laughed and a bit later and did it again laughing again. I told him if he did it AGAIN I would throw him off the roof. ( he was one of those school bully types that THOUGHT his sh*t didn’t stink types ) he didn’t do it again and I quit shortly after. I had last laugh after I found his company went tits-up because,,, he was a BAD Business owner 🙃. MEE POINT is treat your workers, coworkers, TEAM with RESPECT !!! How’s that saying go ,,-,,, DO ONTO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD WANT DONE TO YOU 🤔 Long winded comment I KNOW.
