Watch what all you put on that distribution bar, it's still only fed with one small wire on one fuse. Clean install, looks great!!!

6AWG to the battery feeding the bus bar should be able to handle at least 60amps. But sure, might not be able to handle two giant roof bars

@@WhiteCollarRedneck OK, it looked like you were pointing to a small wire connector that appears to have maybe #14 wire. If you used the winch wires you can run a ton of stuff on that.

Where does the relay get wire in ? I huess if you had a wiring diagram it would really help us rookies ? Is that an Amazon panel ? Thanks!

Yes it is from Amazon, though brand name. Just simple 4/5 pin bosch relay wiring. Incoming device Power from Fuse block outlet to relay pin 30 and then from Pin 87 to the Device. Power out of the switch to Pin 86, Pin 85 to ground. Pin 87a unused.

I’m curious about some of the factory wired switches. Are they plug and play ready? Or do you have to add a harness or something like that? Also, do you have a way of contacting you outside of YT?

    • @WhiteCollarRedneck

If you see the inserted section from our comparison video, the Switch panel is actually just a mounting plate. No actual wiring provisions. We had to add all that

I saw that. I’m still trying to decide how I want to hook up my light bar and Rick lights.

Hey im new to the sxs world and im trying to see how i need to splice the key on power. Do you splice it into the fuse box or to the relay and how. TIA

    • @WhiteCollarRedneck

Starting around 2:05 you will hear the Hess Override switch we installed has a key power piggy back connection in the harness. You could also cut and splice in a heat shrink butt connector with a new wire. We would only use the key power to trigger a relay coil and not feed directly off the key power.
