It's not "just" that he snatched her wig, it's the intention behind it. He did it to frighten and humiliate her, and he caused her emotional and physical pain in the process. Women use various things from combs, clips, pins and glue to keep their wigs in place, so I have no doubt that some of her hair was ripped out and that she experienced pain in the process. Women also use wigs for various reasons, but those reasons don't matter. What matters is that everyone deserves to be treated with basic human dignity and women deserve to feel as well as BE safe in public.
One of the first things that my parents taught me in life is to mind my own business and to keep my hands to myself. It's unfortunate that not everyone got the same memo, but even more unfortunate how many men in the comments are defending this douchebag. If it's not OK for a man to do to your mother, daughter or wife, then it's not OK for a man to do to any woman. Period!!

I have my own natural hair up in twists with a low bun. When I came to work this week as soon as I past these 2 white female workers, there was a whole discussion about my hair. 1 said she was amazed how many ways black women can wear their hair. Then she proceeded to ask how did I get my hair from straight to this way. Meaning natural. And asked how long did it take and did I do it myself. The 2nd woman started telling me about her mixed grandchildrens' hair as if trying to relate. It's so tacky. It's just hair that grows out of my head like theirs. I remember I was in the store and a black man comes up and hands me and my husband a business card. It was for his daughter's weave salon. My hair is naturally long. So this man thought I had a weave and when it was time to get it done I could come to his daughter's shop. This one was sad and funny at the same time. There are black women who have naturally long hair. Stereotyped by your own and others.

@@eddyvideostar only men think snatching women's hair to humiliate them and laugh at their expense should be considered a prank and funny. I'm glad, one woman finally decided to say enough.
Men and women don't play with each other, so what does it mean to snatch a woman's hair, this is how men slowly try to errode the societal boundaries created to protect women from them
by putting their hands on them to exert force and then laughing in the process. Next time, they'll push a woman and call it a prank,
then it will be a slap and a punch until it's normalised for men to beat up on women without facing any consequences.
This is what men actually want. And I'm glad women are starting to be strict with men. Men's aggression is never innocent, it's testing boundaries to see what they can get away with.
Because many can't stand not being able to bully women as they want

As a teenager in 1969, I sat in orientation in Boston for my first summer job. The women leading the orientation walked behind my chair and put both of her hands on my Afro. I instinctively spun around and elbowed her in her stomach. She was shocked and tried to explain that she wanted to know how my hair felt. Needless to say, she and I didn't get along all summer. I hope she never tried that on any other black person.
