Thx for showing how to de-assemble and assemble it... i had problem with my wipers too on my corsa C 2005 sxi but the problem was in the linkage on driver side wiper holder ... and tested the motor seems working...so now i just bought from ebay new linkage with the rods 26 pounds
oh.. it did because i have driving license from 2017 so i'am new driver but i would like to repair my car by myself with the basic stuff that doesn't require some more professional or and expensive tools to do the repair... :) btw that part is called wiper spindle which is sized ... it seems it can be opened and cleaned but i don't have a sandpaper, grease... so i guess is better to buy new as i did already... thx again for the video
I just want to say... just finished successfully installing the linkage... BUT it was hell of experience because 3 or 4 times i installed the linkage in way that wipers just wasn't moving in correct way :D at the end i don't know exactly which was the correct position to install them but now its ok ... it's very annoying job to install/reinstall until you got it right...
you sir are a star,,, saved me £140.00 for fitting of new motor, great video great pace and well demonstrated. bought a new motor and followed your instructions, job done in an hour,, you are defo due some good karma bro, lifesaver, cheers
Hi m8,love the videos, just bought a 2011 1.3 combo ready for fishing and spending time doing bits of needed work on it and spending a lot of time watching your vids thanks. Just having an issue with my wipers dropping an inch or so when turned on.They only drop when first turned on and work as intended but that drop makes them hit the plastic lower casing. They have been raised by re-seating the arms it seems but they are in the way of my visibility. So i stripped everything out like you have done just to WD40 every squeek and groan etc.hoping that the motor is not causing the initial drop as i cant work out if its the linkage or motor that is at fault here before i go spending. My issue is trying to stop this drop of the wipers and all i can see what is causing it is maybe the parking position of the main bracket to the wiper motor. So exactly where is the parking position of these linkage arms supposed to be? I have tried various positions of the centre holding plate to the motor to no avail and as you can imagine trying to find the correct position is a nightmare now.I have noticed in your video that when you took the linkage out,the main linkage arm was over the centre of your wipers motor middle nut but when you fit it back in,your centre arm is at the top of the bracket at say 12 o`clock and not your 8 o`clock original parking position. You also left the passenger wiper arm on and was in the parked position when you took it off but was in the up position when you fitted it all back together. How did you even manage to get it back to sitting correctly? I am on my 3rd bracket setting now and have just fastened the centre linkage bracket on the wiper motor to say 6 o`clock fitted it all back in and yes it stopped that initial wiper drop but now my wipers want to go down the bonnet lol. Is there an easy way to know when fixing the centre linkage arm to the wiper motor that tells me that it is in the parking position or is it all just random guess work?Do you think my wiper motor is to blame for the first initial wiper drop? Can you link still where you got your wiper motor from at that price and are Corsa C parts the same for our combos? Sorry for all the questions m8,im just getting stressed lol.
Got the same issue with my Opel Corsa C 1.7DTI daily driver. Exactly the same problem where they get stuck then you fiddle with them and they move slowly into life
My wipers are stppping top of screen(infront drivers view). Have changed motor to new one, still same problem. Any suggetions please. Ive heard, can diconnect arm off motor, push wipers to bottom. Then see if go back that place when, arms fitted back to motor. Could this be problem, or any other before I take back apart. Cheers
Hi I have a 2005 Opel Corsa C 1,4i Sport and i have a problem with my wipers , the motor is fine but the blades overshoot their mark and they don't stop at the bottom , they stop a quarter the way up on the windscreen , what actually stops the motor when it has finished it's wiping cycle , it's almost like the motor keeps spinning a little extra when it has switched off and it almost like free wheels a bit causing the blades to come to rest half way up on the windscreen .
Would this work for a Corsa D (2007)? My wipers keep getting stuck, they'll start working again for around 10seconds and then stop again. They might not work at all next time I try
Hi was wondering if you could tell me, basically when i try to use my front wipers it makes a loud alarm sound, but my back wipers and front washers work but my front wipers dont work Thanks
Hey so I used this video and managed to change the linkage and motor only problem now is the left wiper is scraping the bottom of the windscreen causing an irritating screeching sound. Do I need to adjust the linkage?
Hello. Please help. My wipers are not in the home postion when after wiping? Any ideas please? They wipe fine. They just are a little raised on the windscreen after wiping
Hi, you could try unbolting the wiper arms, then operate the wipers once to get the mechanism to the home position, then re-attach the wiper arms in the correct position on the windscreen. Hope that helps.

We’ve just bought a combo from the Bay with a motor problem and this how to guide was great. 👍👏
Great video, will hopefully help me to change the short linkage that is worn and keeps popping off the ball of the motor drive.👍🏻
O look John's got a new motor!!!!
Thanks loads with your vid. Just fixed my son's wipers on his combo following your method. 👍

This type of motor also contains a regulator. Its a sealed unit. The pins and/or brushes wear out so the wipers forget where to stop.

I've never worked on a Corsa D, but I would think the process would be similar. It could well be that you need to replace the motor.
Get a new motor!!!
Hi, I have the same issue. What turned out to be the problem in the end?
Hi was wondering if you could tell me, basically when i try to use my front wipers it makes a loud alarm sound, but my back wipers and front washers work but my front wipers dont work
Thanks
hi how long did it take you to sort the wioer motor out
Job probably took an afternoon, but I was filming too. Could do it in an hour if it went smoothly.

+Laraiby Bx yes, it sounds like the one wiper arm needs taking off and adjusting to the right position then tightening up.

Stop that horrible music....
