      Keep working on your vocabulary. I find that I can understand conversations better after I’ve spent some time learning words. Are you confortable with all the N5 vocabulary? If not, that’s the reason why you’re having a hard time understanding. It could also be that you’re not spending enough time listening to N5 conversations. Thankfully there’s tons of material to listen to online.

      @@seriestv2989 research I've done shows that most of the "N5" vids on this channel use far too much N4 (and even N3) grammar & vocabulary to be considered N5. This is not N5, it's almost certainly N4 level. I get that raising the difficulty like this can help "over prepare" you for the real thing, but the problem is that it can make people feel inadequate and even turn people off from taking the exam because they think they're not at the required level.
