@@JustinDoesRUclips I dont have a source but I agree with hobbster. there are lots of faceless videos that have 20-30 ads in a 30 minute video, but if you watch them you're not going to see all of them, only what youtube thinks the viewer should see. having multiple ad slots basically gives them permission to show as many ads to viewers as often as algo feels. No source but only makes sense. you can verify this by looking at a channel through social blade, their last video uploaded will show on their SB profile and you can see how many ad slots the video has.
@@JustinDoesRUclipsI am a student of Channels Growing here in Brazil and the info they share about the ads is that you are signaling to RUclips that you "allow" that many ads to be added in your video and they choose how many and in what slots they will put it. But I also don't have an official YT source.

RUclips does NOT play every ad slot you put in. It plays what each individual user will tolerate based on past behavior. Stuff them in there!
