When a human sees some small way to help wildlife they are what supposed to just leave it be? We like to think of ourselves as kind, caring and willing to help a fellow parent when they child has been kidnapped by another monkey. If your child was about to be kidnapped and a dog jumped in to stop it would you be offended? Would you wag your high and mighty finger at the dog from atop your pedestal? This attitude that we are not allowed to interfere with nature in any way is kind of arrogant don't you think? That is why I wasn't that concerned when they couldn't get Brady and Rainbow switched back to their right mothers. I knew that at least, if Brady was left with Rose, then he would finally have a chance to heal that hurt arm, because Katrinala and Amanda wouldn't be there, pulling and yanking on that arm 24/7 like they did when he was with Libby. Rose being in a proper troop, means that Brady has family members and mom's allies, protecting him from any potential kidnappers. If he was back with Libby, he wouldn't have any of that! And now it seems like that ATM HAS healed, or at least he's starting to use it again, starting to cling to mom with both arms, instead of just the unhurt left one.
I think libby is really good at times I've seen way worse monkeys moms than libby . Li g does need to stop putting her foot on poor babies head and face tho

I mean it's possible they might be able to get at least Rainbow back to Rose, but there's a lot of "what if's" as well. No that is the order of things any high ranking monkey can take a low ranking monkeys baby when ever they want. Most times they give the baby back after the mom has had a break. But they don't have to if they want they can keep the baby. I learn this a long time ago from jane, bonita, ..... group when I was watching only them. As for Libby fighting for rainbow she does that a lot and she loves rainbow as her very own. She is her mom.

It is too late to do anything. Both babies are thriving and so are both moms. Both troupes have accepted the babies. Human intervention could possibly cause an injury or death to a baby, a monkey or a humsn.

A lot people got upset because they didn't take Jane's daughter jana, she was abusive to her brother really bad and stealing his milk. The best decision is to take her home to her real mom Rose where she belongs. They won’t do that because their making more money keeping Rainbow here. They have no shame or real caring for these monkeys.
This was one good decision in a sea of many mistakes. I’m not saying they are Primatologists. The baby needed milk. Katrina didn’t have any milk. Rainbow would’ve died had they not intervened. Therefore, one good decision, for the short term life of this baby monkey was a good choice. Yes the baby should be with its mother but until (if) they do that, this is it’s best chance for survival.
@@peggykett520 the vos didn't switch the babies Rose did it herself. The vos shouldn't interfere with mother nature. Also kidnappers can have the baby a day or more and the babies go without milk and they don't die. They just go back to nursing and everything is ok.

Wow i am very impressed of the rescue worker how fast he was catching the big monkey and for extracting the tiny baby the way he did. That was no easy task and that guy did it with great timing and precision. This guy knows what the hell he is doing and he is extremely good at what he does, a total professional. Maybe you all know about this more than I do, but why did Libby not bother to try and get the baby back from Katrina? Is she afraid of her? With everyone else she gets defensive but why not with Katrina?
@Jose.. my best guess, Libby was raised by a human, who put her in diapers and dresses and fed her human processed foods and she had only human training. She may not have known what to do as she doesn't know about hierarchy and where her place is. She seems most comfortable with the man that feeds them and she can sleep peacefully on his lap. I think Katrina is older and has more Rank.

All monkeys are constantly smelling their babies bottom and checking them out. There's those who know a lot about monkeys say that it will take somewhere around 4 or 5 months before they will know that that is their baby if I am remembering correctly the month? They seriously went above and beyond to make sure they didn't lose their already previously lost little RUclips superstars Rainbow. They physically took Rainbow away from at least 4 other monkeys at one point or another to ensure they got exclusive filming rights to the little t!tty terror.

They're young and still small, very trusting of the cameramen who feed them all the time. They climb all over these cameramen, lay with them on the hammack etc. Rose is part of a real troop of monkeys. You can't take a baby from her, she's extremely protective! There are also big males in her troop with some huge teeth who will protect her. Even her adoptive mother Bonita is very vicious

This is a great, temporary solution. I want to know what happens when Katrina continues to take Rainbow from Libby for longer and longer periods, until Rainbow is in danger of starving, or being injured (or even killed)? Will you remove Katrina? Will you remove Libby and Rainbow? Will you remove either Libby or Rainbow? Clearly, this is not going to stop.

Rescuing Rainbow from Katrina was a good solution for the short term-- baby was getting hungry and for some season Libby was to intimidated to do anything about it. However, it does not change anything in the long run. Monkeys from this group will kidnapp her, if Libby doesn't do anything about it after a while baby will die. I would have preferred you take the baby to Rose to watch her reaction. If she takes the baby good... if not take her back to Libby. But at least she would've had a chance to choose.
It's cool how you guys know how to communicate with the monkeys! That's nice you help them out, because once they are domesticated and then thrown in the wild they usually don't make it very far! There's so many signals and noises the monkeys use to communicate with each other, alot of people don't pick up on alot of the signals! Hats off to you guys! Great job! You guys should try to get some kind of grant to help you help the monkeys!

It is too late to do anything. Both babies are thriving and so are both moms. Both troupes have accepted the babies. Human intervention could possibly cause an injury or death to a baby, a monkey or a humsn.

A lot people got upset because they didn't take Jane's daughter jana, she was abusive to her brother really bad and stealing his milk. They said that should they of taken jana instead of the nice daughter that was pregnant. Sorry I can't remember her name. Jane has had a lot of babies. Also they are never going to give rainbow back to rose, rose made her chose when she took brady.

They (ASPRA) don't watch you tube and don't care who gets taken. in the 6 years I've been following I've seen 3 big Cullings and a few small ones, the worst are when they dart them or bring in the pro. hunters. The best decision is to take her home to her real mom Rose where she belongs. They won’t do that because their making more money keeping Rainbow here. They have no shame or real caring for these monkeys.
This was one good decision in a sea of many mistakes. I’m not saying they are Primatologists. The baby needed milk. Katrina didn’t have any milk. Rainbow would’ve died had they not intervened. Therefore, one good decision, for the short term life of this baby monkey was a good choice. Yes the baby should be with its mother but until (if) they do that, this is it’s best chance for survival.

@@peggykett520 the vos didn't switch the babies Rose did it herself. The vos shouldn't interfere with mother nature. Also kidnappers can have the baby a day or more and the babies go without milk and they don't die. They just go back to nursing and everything is ok.

That was no easy task and that guy did it with great timing and precision. This guy knows what the hell he is doing and he is extremely good at what he does, a total professional. Maybe you all know about this more than I do, but why did Libby not bother to try and get the baby back from Katrina? Is she afraid of her? With everyone else she gets defensive but why not with Katrina?
@Jose.. my best guess, Libby was raised by a human, who put her in diapers and dresses and fed her human processed foods and she had only human training. She may not have known what to do as she doesn't know about hierarchy and where her place is. She seems most comfortable with the man that feeds them and she can sleep peacefully on his lap. I think Katrina is older and has more Rank.

As soon as Libby got Rainbow back and when they gave her a carton of milk, she smelled her bottom and it looked like she may have thought it was Brady for a second. Obviously we don’t know what monkeys are thinking of so it’s just an observation. Katrina needs to keep her filthy hands off of Rainbow!!!

All monkeys are constantly smelling their babies bottom and checking them out. There's those who know a lot about monkeys say that it will take somewhere around 4 or 5 months before they will know that that is their baby if I am remembering correctly the month? Then again I seen where rose is trying to chew Bradys tail off because he is a long tail monkey not a pigtail like her.

They seriously went above and beyond to make sure they didn't lose their already previously lost little RUclips superstars Rainbow. They physically took Rainbow away from at least 4 other monkeys at one point or another to ensure they got exclusive filming rights to the little t!tty terror.

They're young and still small, very trusting of the cameramen who feed them all the time. They climb all over these cameramen, lay with them on the hammack etc. Rose is part of a real troop of monkeys. You can't take a baby from her, she's extremely protective! There are also big males in her troop with some huge teeth who will protect her. Even her adoptive mother Bonita is very vicious

I want to know what happens when Katrina continues to take Rainbow from Libby for longer and longer periods, until Rainbow is in danger of starving, or being injured (or even killed)? Will you remove Katrina? Will you remove Libby and Rainbow? Will you remove either Libby or Rainbow? Clearly, this is not going to stop.

Rescuing Rainbow from Katrina was a good solution for the short term-- baby was getting hungry and for some season Libby was to intimidated to do anything about it. However, it does not change anything in the long run. Monkeys from this group will kidnapp her, if Libby doesn't do anything about it after a while baby will die. I would have preferred you take the baby to Rose to watch her reaction. If she takes the baby good... if not take her back to Libby. But at least she would've had a chance to choose.
So you can get Rainbow back from Katrina but you can't give Rose milk to make her sleepy to switch the babies back. Smfh

It's cool how you guys know how to communicate with the monkeys! That's nice you help them out, because once they are domesticated and then thrown in the wild they usually don't make it very far! There's so many signals and noises the monkeys use to communicate with each other, alot of people don't pick up on alot of the signals! Hats off to you guys! Great job! You guys should try to get some kind of grant to help you help the monkeys!

This monkey Libby lacks patience with rainbow at times, and clearly she mistreats her at times as well. You've done nothing impressive, you would've if you took a little time to find Rose and given her back her baby. That would've gotten you "hat's off" and a bow. Sure you had to get her back from Katrina but in the process and while taking a chance in taking her back from Katrina you should've had a better plan and that was to locate Rose, lure Katrina with food and then made your move and snatched her, and then return her to her mom. I'm disappointed in All of you for not trying to find her real mother. Instead you give her back to this "ABUSIVE" monkey Libby. The only thing you accomplished is, you got praised, and the baby won't starve.
