If he is taken away now he will not thrive and it will be a big mistake and he will struggle because he is used to being with you and your family. The old owner gave him up, you can’t ask for him back once you have given him away. Why does AKA cross his arms in front of his body ?
Cause he has no mom or his owner to cling to. These babies instinct is to cling. First months of life they are constantly or the mother. Even if aka never got to really do that it's natural instinct

Not all monkeys have long tails. I believe he is either a stump tail Macaque or a pigtail Macaque. (or stump and pigtail can be the same thing, Im not sure.)
