  • Join us in another trip to the plantation as we check on our cattle and get taro for Sunday. Last sunday we had heavy winds which damaged the cattle fencing. As a result our cows escaped and went missing for 2 days. Luckily we were able to locate them using the drone and had we not found them, it wouldve been a very big loss. 40k worth of loss for us.
    Hope you guys enjoy and be sure to check out our social media accounts 😊
    thank you again to everyone for supporting our channel ❤❤❤

      Yeah brother...my heart sank in my stomach when they weren't at the cattle farm because 9 times outta 10 you'll never be able to chase them back again..hence the many roaming cows around our village...much love to and the fams brother❤❤

    If im being honest RN, watching this ep is like reading a short concise essay 😊. No pressh but i enjoyed the video. It's sad that I no longer see the other two dogs 😭 which always ran along with poor demo whenever youd go to the xattle farm in ur previous videos. But your cattkes are such cuties 😻. I love how the drone is useful to point where u found ur missing cattles again but man, that was quite a distance 😂😂. Lastly, I'm jealous ur kid could drive a truck compared to me who is older 😂😂but its great he's always helping you out even ur girls.

      Yeah we can but it's a bit of a gray area with families claiming possession of some portions of land 🙄

    Why do the cattle in the island always look quite lean or thing compared to NZ or Aus beef? I noticed it a lot when in Fiji and Samoa

    • @SamoanFarmer
      @SamoanFarmer  8 дней назад +3

      You're absolutely right. I think its because of the lack of proper feed with high protein content. But I know fiji is coming along very well with developing their own feed as opposed to importing feed. Similarly here in Samoa, we have began growing developing new feeds for the livestock industry. Hope that helps😊

      @SamoanFarmer Yes, it does. Thank you for explaining. I noticed the same thing with the horses.
