I applied po sa 2nd course ng full financial aid. na approve po xa. done na po ako sa 2nd so nag apply ulit ako sa 3rd course. Hopefully ma approve pa rin po.
Tried financial aid in coursera for TESOL, got approved but it says 90% only is free, I still start with the modules but didn't proceed since there is a part asking for a payment to send your assignment, I unenrolled and unsubscribed in the course. Yes po. You can apply up to 10 financial aids. I did that also and yung reasons ko same lang but how this course will help me, I modified it according sa topic ng course ☺️

I applied for funding I'm struggling to writing tasks at end of all my modules, it says I should pay, please help or advise on what to do. All my modules are open but I can't complete assignments at the end of the modules I only do small quizzes
Hi! As of January 2023, I don't think Coursera's certificate is free anymore. I applied for Financial Aid for yesterday and by Week 1's Lesson 3, Peer-graded Assignment, I have to "Upgrade to Submit" which means I have to agree to the 7-day free trial and enter a credit card/PayPal account that they will charge me for once the 7 days are over. I thought of maybe finishing the course before 7 days so I can cancel the subscription but I don't know that it will guarantee a certificate. Update soon!

Hmm, I'm not sure the Coursera class is free anymore. Also, on your screen it shows it as a free trial with financial aid available after 7-days. Please confirm or correct me on that because I really want to be wrong here 🤞😂🤞❤ On the Coursera app it's unfortunately showing as £48 and I'm seeing no free option, which is interesting because your channel is not the only place I saw this mentioned as a free course. 😢

Hello, here's what's stated on their website po "You will receive a course certificate from Coursera for each of the courses of Parts 1 and 2. When you have successfully completed all courses, including the two capstones, from Parts 1 and 2 you will receive ASU’s 150-hour TESOL certificate."

Yes, that is the same po. Yung sakin is just 1 course but after that you can proceed to courses 2-8 :) You can take that po.

Hi teacher Marie, I wonder why the two courses in coursera doesn't have any indication for applying financial aide. The text that are written there are "The Teach English Now! Capstone Project 1 course is open for enrollment for users who have completed courses 1-7 of the Specialization." I'm worried if I can continue the course and can able to get the TESOL certification. Hope you will notice this comment.

Hi Teacher Marie. I am almost finished with the first course, and at the moment, I am working on the last module. However, after completing the final questions, it says 'review or upgrade to submit.' This account is from last year, and I've only recently come back to it. Do I still need to pay to complete Module 4? It won’t count as completed if I don’t upgrade

Hi! As of January 2023, I don't think Coursera's certificate is free anymore. I applied for Financial Aid for yesterday and by Week 1's Lesson 3, Peer-graded Assignment, I have to "Upgrade to Submit" which means I have to agree to the 7-day free trial and enter a credit card/PayPal account that they will charge me for once the 7 days are over. I thought of maybe finishing the course before 7 days so I can cancel the subscription but I don't know that it will guarantee a certificate. Update soon!

@@TeacherMariePh Hi! I'm not sure. My financial aid application's response was in 2 weeks pa (Jan. 30) so I couldn't proceed with the next modules if I waited for Jan. 30. I plan to complete modules 7 and 8, get the certificate and cancel my subscription before I get charged.

You have to wait til it is approved (to be sure) and you can apply to 10 courses at the same time 🙂

Hmm, I'm not sure the Coursera class is free anymore. Also, on your screen it shows it as a free trial with financial aid available after 7-days. Please confirm or correct me on that because I really want to be wrong here 🤞😂🤞❤ On the Coursera app it's unfortunately showing as £48 and I'm seeing no free option, which is interesting because your channel is not the only place I saw this mentioned as a free course. 😢

Hello, here's what's stated on their website po "You will receive a course certificate from Coursera for each of the courses of Parts 1 and 2. When you have successfully completed all courses, including the two capstones, from Parts 1 and 2 you will receive ASU’s 150-hour TESOL certificate."
