Such an Underrated Great Horse...When he made his Move to The Lead He Spurted away from Fields in a Blink of an Eye...He also "Easily" Coasted by and Beat Chrome during their meeting Under a light hand ride
+Silver Charm The only two missing are the Classic which still bothers me, as well as the Charles Town race which I figured shouldn't really count. All other races are wins!
The Classic still bothers me as well and who would want to see any part of the disastrous Charles Town race where he got a DNF, poor baby. Thank you for doing this. Trevor Denman announced his retirement from calling races at Santa Anita the day after Shared Belief died. It was obvious how much he loved him so I will always wonder about the timing of his retirement. :(
Dear Denise Shepard: let me give you some info about S. B. Shared Belief was named American Champion Two-Year-Old Colt for 2013 at the Eclipse Awards. As a three-year-old, an injury kept him out of the 2014 Kentucky Derby, but he returned later in the year and won four races including the Los Alamitos Derby, Pacific Classic, and Awesome Again Stakes, but lost his unbeaten record when finishing fourth as the favorite for the Breeders' Cup Classic. He returned from his defeat in the Breeders' Cup to win the Malibu Stakes on his final appearance of the year. In 2015 he defeated California Chrome in the San Antonio Stakes and won the Santa Anita Handicap before being sidelined for the season with a hip injury. Returning to the track in late 2015, he had promising workouts and was being prepared for a return to racing in 2016. He died unexpectedly on December 3, 2015 due to complications of colic. Emergency surgery was performed at the University of California-Davis School of Veterinary medicine, but surgeons were unable to save him. A great horse, one of my favorite Best regards!
😮😢WTF IS COLIC? I’m going to Google it now after this. Rome was reminiscing about Shared Belief on his show today and I had to look it up because I was curious about it. Thanks for enlightening me indirectly with the resume and news on the tragic details. What an awesome 🐎 horse indeed 🎉RIP SB❤
I know its been a while but as I watch this , tears are rolling down my cheeks.Shared Belief was a super horse that left this earth way to soon.

RIP Shared Belief! Imagine this machine against the beast that was Arrogate RIP also over 2000 metres. Holy heck what a race that would've been.
This was one good horse that woulda ran til he was 5 years old, 6 or possibly longer. I keep waiting for the next Shared Belief.
Man do I miss Trevor Denman 😢
What a turn of foot!
WAR Shared Belief!
Damn he was good. Had only just scratched the surface too. Colic sucks.
Thanks Carly, it'd be better to see a compilation of all lifetime career races.
