They probably were people that grew up during the depression. They kept EVERYTHING! BTW, Thank you for doing these videos every day, it’s one of the only things that’s keeping me sane while doing homeschool five boys! 🤪
Definetly depression era vibes, my Grandma would squirrel the packaging paper away at X-mas if we let her. the only thing my parents were happy about her hoarding, was her basement full of old fashioned mason jars.
The first set of drawers would be a mixed media artist's and journal maker's dream. You could set up "lots" to sell. Same for the rubber stamps and other craft items. I have a feeling you are going to find a whole lot more arts and crafts stuff yet!
Every place u guys have gone has my interest peaked! I sew, I craft, I collect dolls and anything to decorate out side with! Thanks for showing the trash and treasure u find! Babs
Hello sweet family. The previous owner kept everything in order and well preserved Were they wholesalers or had a gift store. Watching this video made me want to put my things in good order. Very nice merchandise. Wade is your sweet mom a knitter. I knit a lot of children’s caps, sweaters, blankets and give them away to the needy. Long winters in Iceland. Grandma Ventures keep safe, you are so precious to all. Wade it was nice to see your lovely wife, Ashley working with you today. Great storage facility with a lot of boxes. Each day is fun to see you all opening treasures and meeting personalities of previous owners. May sound strange but it gives a peek view. Keep well, keep safe, these are crazy times. God bless us all....Margaret n Iceland
Grandma Ventures you are an inspiration to us all. You bring to the table yourself, you are witty, humorous and a wonderful mom and granny keep well and safe... Margaret
I watch from curiosity of what you find, but I can't help but feel bad, every time Wade says were gonna make thousands from these units! It sad that this man lost all of these valuable items really sad!!!
I can't believe that sets of drawers are made that tall!! Most of us aren't giants lol. Its great to see what you can all use and the rest sell, all the cards and paper items that will save you money is great and I'd do the same if it were me. Ashley I would have kept things for my children too, well done for putting them first sweetheart. All the different stamps in the units will be gems for those who use them, I'm not a craft person more of a cooking and reading person, I don't know how many years since I last watched tv or a film as I prefer my books or watching my friends on RUclips. Take care and stay safe please my friends, love and hugs to you all Mary-Ellen UK
A reseller who is not complaining about nothing to list, love the video, I must say I’m a fan of grandma ventures, keep healthy and smiling and opening all those boxes, thx Wade 👍
Hi Guys and Girls My Granddaughter was Watching me and Said She likes the Show Says you are showing how you are Setting a good example for your Boys Hard Works Pays Off xx
That paper stuff you and Ashley are going through are wonderful. Craft people would be all over it. I am doing craft stuff right now and I bet hundreds, if not thousands would really be all over this.
Awwwhhh.....I see all the cute bears from yesterday!!!😍 oh boy, you have a fair little amount of boxes right there!!!!! So much cool things!!!😱 and soooo much good stuff for crafters!!!! Coffee-paper are cool for scrap booking!👍

Sashay yarn is awesome for crafting covered clothes hangars. Build up corners with tape, then do half-hitch knots (macrame) to cover entire hanger. Non-slip hangers for plus size clothes
The pictures on the tissue boxes make great tags and bookmarkers .. Gms has plenty of tissue paper now too.. Have a Blessed Night Stay Safe Stay Healthy Love Ya All 💕💕💕🤗🤗🤗
Hey there. I have been watching you and your family unboxing the 3 units and I love everything so far. I think did an amazing job. I don't put a lot of comments but I watch everything you do I enjoy it a lot. 🙏💐🌷💝
Dear guys. These people probably kept the empty cups and paper tissue boxes for decorating them later with deco-tissue. It does not necessarily have to be a hording- issue. Love your shows and am sorry for being in Germany, not able to be at one of your sales. Your family are all so nice. Stay that way and take care. Greetings from Claudia.
I get the impression that besides these people having obvious hoarding issues, (I mean, saving cracker boxes, really?) they were seriously into crafting. So many beautiful items though! Loved a lot of the bear items. Missed Grandma Ventures! Ashley seems so shy! Very pretty though! Much love to you guys! Stay safe! God bless. Wade I hope you get a keychain knife before your next unit!😂
Correction you are a healty horder is what you will be called. ☺love your watchimg your shows.Katie here Roberts wife. I hope you have a successful sales on these 3 storages.
grandma you look beautiful in the opening shot ashley well done so much to go though some lovley stuff wade you have some money in this one these are expencive to buy all this cards and things well done carol uk xx
Love your channel. Big thank you to Ashley for her awesome editing! I need someone to do my editing too. My daughter doesn’t seem into it anymore. Love grandma ventures poshmark too. Already made a purchase. Great deals! Take care venture ohana! Love from Hawaii!
Thinking that if it were me...I'd keep my prices super low and move stuff...there is SO MUCH! Money spent on the units will be gotten back plus many times over...I'd like to be able to pass that on and give others a GREAT DEAL! Thanks for sharing your videos I'm really enjoying seeing all of the unique items😊😊
I still think they had a business, there are tons of creative stuff for fancy photo albums. You are all going to be doing this stuff for a long time! Nice choice for a storage unit!
@31:27 I have an small old dresser similar to this one. Mine is in excellent condition, painted an eggshell white semi glass with wood handles. It is probably 65 years old.
Taco Stacks just picked up a set of those rattan style patio chairs from the curb side on one of his trash videos. Funny to see these chairs again. I have a rocker similar to the one you showed in this video that came out of the last estate.
Remember to stay some of the books and craft things for the boys. Because what you save now you won’t have to put money out later. Books you can’t go wrong on. That word up there is (Save).Louise Tridle
I wish I could buy the two small white storage units, you showed us in the end, its really cute and I also loved the three plastic tall storage, I don't think they make them as tall as these anymore but unfortunately I live in London UK.
You can tell that they were crafters, many of the tissue boxes and food wrappers crafters reuse to make things with. The disposable coffee cups are great for washing paint brushes out in and mixing paints in as well. They were frugal. I don’t think that they had a craft sore or anything like that because they only had one of most things. I just think they were collectors of many things.
I'm thinking this guy had a gift shop/craft store/some kind of store that went out of business, and he didn't have a way to sell the remaining stock. One more edit: Many people who grew up during the depression did not throw away ANYTHING, and bought things when they were cheap. I have an aunt that saved every fast food bag, the ties/plastic clips from bread bags, the bread bags, everything. She had over 200 bars of soap under a sink, and can't begin to tell you how much material was stored away. Cleaning out her house after she died was painful.
Yeah this looks like old stock from a craft and/or gift shop. Nothing too old, 1980s-1990s at oldest. Not somebody's personal collection. Those cards are antique-style repros, not truly old. Cute stuff, but not so old.
I bet they kept every thing so that they wouldn't have a garbage bill until next time stay safe so nice to see you Ashley tell grandma ventures hi and good luck with your posh mark
You should REALLY do a few live-auctions!!!! Juts watch Locker Nuts or what the Hale$!! They sell A LOT!!!!! Looooove that Betty boop box!!! PS! You should make a little "grandmas -corner"on ebay aswell...😉🤗 bet u all those drawers with stuff..Grandma knows it right?didn't she had a store?
We had a scrapbook store in our small town for many years and carried much of the stuff you're finding they had even conceivable rubber stamps you could imagine.it was no small store either.
Much love and good wishes to all the family. Take care of yourselves, stay safe, stay home, and follow the authorities' instructions re the pandemic to the letter - that is very important, especially for Mom's and your grandmothers' sake. Blessings.
That person was probably a crafter of some kind. We love vintage paper, used envelopes, stamps, ephemera, vintage stickers and cards and cardstock, used postage stamps, dyed paper, vintage postcards, lace, fabric, yarn, buttons, string...should i go on? Some of the stuff you may be better off selling in lots.
I am interested in any stamps of giraffe you find please...and you might want to consider selling the stamps in lots. In my experience they don't sell for nearly as much as they cost retail. Good luck! I am a super big crafter, so really enjoyed today's video!
Holy cow! The bottom drawer of the little white dresser is a junk journal stash for sure! I keep and use all kinds of pretty or interesting packaging for and in my journals! I wonder how much you'd sell those packages for?
Its all stuff for SCRAPBOOKING!!! all the cards, calendars, etc eventually get cut up and also the stamps, embossing or whatever comes to mind LOL put it together onto usually a 12×12 page to create a themr for photos. In the end its a cross between a collage and a photo album. Since most everything there looked new and very little was used she was probably a beginner at it. Very sad to think she lost all that due to lack of funds where she couldnt pay her unit. But then im not shedding any tears with all that there she couldve sold part of it as well. LOL wow i felt mean saying that but its just my feelings/thoughts. So way to go Wade and Ashley on this super score. But i bet its hard sometimes too. You both and your mom are wonderful people with loving hearts. I really love watching you. Lots of hugs to you both,
hahaha....Wade, that is stuff that a lot of Junk Journalers use to make their journals. @3: 34 Ebay that stuff, or at the very least look it up. I actually make them myself and they are addicting/enjoyable to make.

I laugh every time you show the warehouse with like a million and one boxes crammed in there. 😁😁😁
Our Auxillary shop is selling donated Boyd's Bears for $1. A lot of people collect them.
Some of the folded gift wrapping paper can be worth some money!
Maybe they did craft parties. That would explain having refreshments. Plus multiples of things like the fancy punches and glue guns. This is crazy
I am jealous of the paper ....I do papercrafting!
