One other thing to think about if your password doesn't autofill. Maybe you aren't on the site you think you're on. Not long ago I tried to log on to my credit card site and the password didn't autofill. I thought it was strange because it always autofilled in the past. I took a closer look at the website and found it wasn't the real credit card web page. The password manager didn't recognize the web page so it hadn't filled it. I learned two lessons from that. One, if your password doesn't autofill check the webpage to be sure it's real and the second lesson is don't pick your important websites off an internet search. I've found my legitimate websites and bookmarked them. That way I know I'm getting to the right site.
Leo, I have found some sites won't accept 'Paste' and some won't accept Ctrl-V either (albeit rare). These sites can be pain in the butt, but I still use LastPass. Without LastPass I would be totally lost. Yes, some sites are so obnoxious I must resort to opening the vault and expose the password to view and manually typing in the password but at least I can find the password. Without LastPass it would be lost to the dark spaces of my mind and lost forever. If anyone thinks manually typing in a password is too much trouble, try getting a new password authorized by one of these obnoxious sites. 😒
Most do. I have a sound effect on my clipboard activity (via 3rd party tool), and something like 30 seconds after copying a password to the clipboard, I hear a sound as LastPass empties the clipboard.
Thanks. I was just opening the vault and doing the copy/paste if the icon with the number wasn't there, you saved me some pain.

Thank you for this useful piece of information Leo.
I would check under the Advanced Settings, for Autofill, as you were showing your vault at the 10:22 timestamp of this video.

Password vaults are supposed to make things easier. What do you do when they don’t?
Do vault managers clear the clipboard after either user names or passwords are copied and pasted?

I'm using an iPhone not a computer
