    Hello thanks for making it simple to understand, pls my question is since you are not adding extra allowance to the linning , after adding the foam wont it be smaller than the main fabric and it becomes tight , because i made one and after attaching to thr linning , i placed it on my body and it didn't cover my back wnd there was no way i could join it ,it was way too smaller for me

    Thank you for this tutorial. Please does the knee width also change since the hip width changed or do i use the old knee measurement. I always determine my knee width by calculating my hip measurement minus 6. Do i use my real hip to determine this or the new hip which is plus 2.

    Thank you so much ma , I have been watching hip padding videos but this is very helpful and understanding , but i have a question the hip measurements of the fabric and the lining were not the same how come how do you do it that they became equal when you sew the lining together with the fabric ??

      For the linning don’t worry about it not been equal with ur main fabric , just take one end of the lining join it with the other end of the fabric …….

    My question is why do I need to not add the extra 2 inches for padding to the lining whereas it was added to the main fabric? Won’t it be a source of problem while stitching together?

      It won’t b a problem the reason why u don’t need to add extra 2inches to ur lining is becus ig u don it will b excess and it would b folding

    Thank you for this simplified tutorial. However, I have a question. If we are making a dress that has an half length and we will be joining the skirt part to the upper bodice, should we still come down by 1.5 from the waist? Or go lower?

    Mean wen using d 1/2" foam, we should add extra 2" to our actual hip measurement plus 1" sowing allowance. Hope this 1inch sowing allowance applies/ affects both d Waist and knee also?

      I doubt,,so to be on safe side I will advise you use same measurements so if after joining it's too free you can reduce it's better than running out of allowance hope this suggestions helps
