They noticed the jacket and gloves in my videos and the MANY questions/comments of viewers asking about it. I don't usually do this, but I am very impressed with the quality, fit, finish, and the service provided by Goldtop of both the gloves and the jacket. I also appreciate the safety! I get a small kickback to help the channel, but at NO cost to you. Thank you!
Great review BMR ! I've been using the Cardo Packtalk Bold for about 3 seasons now. It has performed flawlessly. I use it mostly for streaming music. My riding buddies will be interested in this XGP X10 product once I share your video.
I bought one of these after watching several videos and reading reviews, and was originally set on buying a Cardo Edgetalk. But there were several complaints on the Cardo that made me try these instead; and Im glad I did. It blows me away with what i was expecting for the price. Phone calls are clear and crisp, music is loud and clear in the mids and highs, but lacks in deep bass. I run it off my phones bluetooth and Navigation is perfect as well as voice to text and other voice commands. I would recommend these 100% and would have paid Card prices for the quality of these. I am running this in my Shoei GT Air 2 and they fit perfect.I am going to buy another for a project im working on.
Bought another unit to connect via mesh, but there is a problem. The 'Beep' to notify you that you're adjusting the volume, while connect to mesh, is so loud and piercing, that it physically hurt my ear drums and left my ears ringing. Same with the voice when the unit powers on; i have to do it before i put the helmet on my head. The funny things is, is that while listening to music, talking on the phone or getting GPS directions, the volume is perfectly fine. Do you know if there is any possible way to turn thse default volumes either OFF or Down ?
Terrific review. Looks pretty impressive. I'd get one, but my riding buddy won't shut up at the best of times. baaaahaha!! Seriously, this looks like a good idea.
Great review!! One question. Can you listen to your music and have mesh at the same time or would it switch? Looking for something that will lower the music without pausing.
I bought the same and I'm very satistied, but I only have one problem: can't seem to turn down volume notification beep. It is just earpiercing. Have you managed to turn it down a bit?
I don't think that daisy chain concept for bluetooth connectivity is correct. If so, then every unit would be able to connect to multiple riders. But from what I've seen of other units, the bluetooth connectivity only connects to 1 other rider, so 2 in the group. Bluetooth units can't use bluetooth for 3 open channels, rider + 2 others. Only mesh can do that from what I understand which reason why mesh is for 3+ riders.
Interesting review. However, being a troglodyte I've found having music, or conversations, while on the bike is a pain in the...***. I carry my Cell phone with me, in the tank bag or trunk. Stop for gas or lunch, check the phone and deal with anything important. I ride to get away from distractions, and appreciate the quiet rides in my area of the province. IF you want or need the intercom...more power to you.
Actually agree with you: leaving daily distractions and just riding is what I do - I never use them solo, only when touring with my wife on the back. Cheers.

Glad you found it helpful. The Bold is a great piece of kit, and I have to admit I'm a bit surprised at how well this XGP performs.

Thanks for the feedback - agree, the value for money and the performance of these is something Cardo/Sena should be thinking about.

Luckily it's fitted with a mute button! Thanks, sludgy (I think! ;-)

now that is a good question. I didn't try that out. I will check that out and get back to you. Cheers.
