Skipping shuttle arrival and fast trading made me go WHAT. 80 hours in, I had no idea these were an option. +overall amazing tips.

Also: the ammuniton thats in your back pack is 2 turns slower then the ammunition stored in your vest (like if its 2 turn reload from vest, 4 turn reload from backpack)

ONLY if your vest have the reload time reduction trait.
Also the Helper backpack reload time reduction works only for its weapon slot.

great tips as always Unkim! A lot of these tips were things I had to learn myself by pouring through the wiki or just by trial and error. Now I'm just having trouble grappling with quasimorphs that spawn in during elimination missions with multiple levels - i just can't ever seem to bring enough items that bring quasimorphosis down to a manageable level and a lot of them with range weapons will one-shot me and Ill lose all of my good gear and also lose out on a chance to get good gear.
I find inventory management is probably the hardest thing to figure out in the early game. What loot to prioritize and how to use barter items and when is still a bit confusing for me. Either way great video! Keep up the good work and congrats on 1k subscribers! 🎉🎉🎉

You should totally make a guide on which corps to support and the rewards they give later on. I made the mistake of shitting on realware since their early rewards are so bad, but my attitude made a 180 after I found out they give out a 4-row backpack on the next techlevel

SBN and Ancom for best guns and RealWare for best guns AND armor.

I've thought about it! The problem is that the devs are super fast at adding more stuff (thank god!) and that video would be obsolete (or even misleading) pretty soon afterwards. Either way, I'm still considering it only because I can also show a nerdy table with all items and so on.

That fast loot tip will definitely speed things up, I didn''t know that was an option.
Also, using Priya Marlon with Tunnel Rats in the Mars area for farming really takes things to another level. If RNG is on your side, getting loot 2-3 times from the same mission will work wonders for your trade gains.

Even if im far from begginer, i will upvote this, cuz every tip is very userful for new players.
Sadly so far not much to experience outside of repeatable combat. Will return in a 6 month, this game have great potential.

7:19 this saved a run once where I turned around and one of those tzectlan fuckers with the halberds was just hanging out immediately behind me and was about to put 2 in my back for 230489 damage

8:02 you really should of exploded there lol (barrel beyond u).
I guess some top 20 best tips from a guy with 12 hours on the game
1: Abuse running to peak and shoot corners, especially with high accuracy weapons
2: Stun grenades are the best things in the game, nothing is immune to getting clubbed like a seal once you toss them out
3: Tunnel Rat is still the best class lol
4: When you run past barrels and chemical vats take the ammunition in them and drop it on the group so they don't explode
5: If You EVER see a Quasimorph with a Serpents Mouth rifle just run and kite it. I've lost a so many fully maxed Tunnel Rat Percy's with like 195 health (from fungicles) where they just come out of nowhere and one-shot/freeze you, insta-death, no matter what distance,
6: SORBENTS = GOD they are criminally underrated, they're free currently, stack up to x10, and are just better make antibiotics (still save them to make med kits) and antidotes obsolete as they heal infections, poison, AND alcohol addiction. not at all balanced, totally abuse them.
8: Never turn in trades with less than 1000 points, you will generally be disappointed with the rewards
9: You can actually save scum these rewards by first save and quitting, then turning in the selected items through fast trading, checking if you got the right stuff and if not then closing the game (WHILE STILL ON THE FAST TRADE SCREEN) and reopening it and loading the most recent save, your items should still be in your inventory
10: Farming batteries by either completing SBN missions or just getting them while playing, you can break the batteries down into glass and acid, glass is a major component in the game and you can combine it with poppies (really common in flower crates and bedside tables with vases on them) to make morphine
11: Acid weapons are really underpowered, please don't start a run with them (the big 80/80 spitter is 'OK' if you stack up acid in one corner and spread it but it takes too much ammo, found the Ai gets stuck sometimes trying to path to you, and a good pact does the same with a pile of corpses)
10: Naloxone is a rare good tier medicine that cures morphine addiction and gavak addiction, just starting the run with one means you can potentially use an idol, a stack of 5 morphine, or gavak gel stuff
12: naked runs (please start with a claw or machete not fists) with Isabella melee class is great because you can eat meat without an infection chance for food and cannibalism 40% damage buff without the fear of losing hard earnt gear, its really freeing and allows you to play the game in a new light
13: All of the female looking sprites have faster movement speed than the male ones, idk sexism lol,
14: luring attackers around a corner in a massive conga line is one of the best strategies available, because the AI right now doesn't recognise the 15 bodies stacked in a hallway.
15: You can store eyes of medusa (best grenade get them from venus, work as stun and deal a grenades worth of damage as cold) and nails of pain in grenade launchers and nailguns (those 80/80 ones) so they won't spoil
16: Make sure you know whether you know the loot pool of the companies your going against. ie. there is this really great early game company (I think its Coreward) to do missions for because its rewards include a 25% chance for both class and combat chips.
17: Don't take any bad pacts, pls review them / lookup a RUclips vid on them, all of the ones to do with corpses are worth it, anything that does straight up damage, or an explosion or smh is trash. I believe the church of Revelation goons who wear the mind control devices have the highest chance of dropping a 'Break the Pact' if you do accidently bind a bad one (there are no consequences for breaking a pact btw, you just don't get it back)
18: Spiders are very fast do zero damage, poison you, and stun lock you, they have four movement speed and are a menace in large numbers (even with 20 health)
19: I usually dissemble all corpses clothes for free rags which stabilise all wounds with a 50-70% of recovery, the only difference between bandages/splits and them is the bandages give some regeneration (also 10% chance of recovery, regen is more important imo)
20: Pick on of the main three factions to support (don't get attached to a small faction, they are forever doomed) between SBN, Realware and Ancom (I forget so don't trust me on this) but at technology level 3 SBN unlocks big laser pew pews and light armor, Realware gets the heaviest armour and machine guns while Ancom is a good mix of both, great all rounder.
Sorbents and Serpents mouth really need to get nerfed, some of the other weird classes need more unique perks (like who uses spaceborne elites), also don't pick up those 2x1 tradeable items like the the drills and construction drones, just get stack darknet, military units or the data management thingies (they stack up to 10 and they free up another spot for loot). Also the Ai for stuff could be improved for example the spiders on Venus could abuse their movement speed bite and poison the player and then if they have enough movement, take cover and run away. It would be stupid annoying but it would add a lot of personality to them. I'm also kinda sad they got nerfed the need to amputate yourself (as weird as that sounds), like before you could trade infinite morphine for guns and their were no tradeable items amputating an infected foot or arm (and eating the meat) or losing 50 health and a ton of food to gamble for a antibiotic was a real challenging decision; now you just pack 5 med-kits ,10 sorbents and 1 Naloxone, which heal everything and you just can't die unless you position yourself poorly, run into something you don't have defence for or get greedy. Anyways thanks for coming to my TED talk.

I see that everyone is talking about that "Rat" class, I played already for 30 hours and never seen one. Do you need to unlock it or something? I know there are class chips but they are always giving me classes about fire and stuff... do you get the "Rat" class from them?

    • @randomsounds2167
      @randomsounds2167 5 месяцев назад +1

@@silent_gm6407 Tunnel rat class is basically the best class due to its marauder, ammunition, and patch perks. At higher levels Marauder allows you get get up to +4 items per looted inventories (tons of medicine, food, ammunition, and tradeable goodies), Their ammunition perk makes shotguns do 50% more damage (considering a Jeff hammer fires 4 times in a turn it adds up alot) and patch just means once every 50 turns you get hit a free med kit activates.
Unlocking ever class is completely random and they all have an equal chance of being unlocked from class chips. Basically you just have to trade in items to the whatever company has the highest chance of giving you a combat chip (or you can save scum until you get it).

    • @UnkimTV
      @UnkimTV  5 месяцев назад +1

Yes, you can unlock the class if you find one of these class chips for the Tunnel Rats class (either by trading or looting it from a mission).

It gets much easier as you play! Also, if you've played a long time ago, there have been a lot of changes and patches which lowered the difficulty level.

Good tips overall, but it shows the video was being made in an earlier version, we have "recycle everything" and "amputate all" type buttons now.

I went to a planet thinking that it did not have any quasimorphosis in it... I was wrong. By the time I went to the third floor I had no ammo and only a machete left. Somehow I survived 🤣
