She's so beautiful! 💖 Amazing how she moved the log to the shore like it was nothing. Not to mention how quickly she got it down to size. Who ever said measure twice - cut once definitely wasn't talking to a beaver!!! 😄
Oh believe me this is just the tip of the iceberg. They can rebuild a dam so fast that if you take one down you really have to stick around and watch the water drain out to make sure that they cannot simply rebuild it before most of the water is gone.
It's exactly how people work with a chainsaw on wood when they don't want to go right through it and foul the machinery, or when the 'blade' isn't long enough to easily work on a thick log.

Wow so strong! I loved the gnawing sounds and Filbert looked very content while chewing that log in half... That was great to watch, thanks for sharing.. :)
OMG!!!! Much, much respect! It took me hours with an electric saw to cut through a tree in my yard. The cut wasn't straight, nor pretty. Not the case for Filbert. Put me and electric tools to bad shame! Never seen the process live, nor thought about how much trees weigh. Amazing creatures and so vital for life on earth. I'm wondering why they haven't been deployed in the rescue of the Colorado river. Nature's answer to water sources drying up is to " let beavers be beavers".
FYI: Their teeth are red because they are iron enriched for extra strength. They are also self-sharpening chisels, unlike human teeth, optimized for daily wood cutting.
Man, imagine we could communicate with Beavers.. We would not need to use all the resources to make chainsaws n etc.. Nothing like naturally grown cutters..

I had never actually seen this process and didn't know how much I needed to see it. So impressed.
He is much more able than me at manual work! My wife have not to knoww that!
Filbert is cute, intelligent, and hard-working! He's the full package!
I crack up everytime they carry pieces of trees through that office
Filbert is amazing! So strong. Loved watching him gnaw on that branch. Could hardly believe he got that big branch back to his lodge.

Now I know why they say busy as a beaver. I love watching these guys just doing beaver things. So cute.

Love how it just pulled the log around like it doesn't weight anything.
Beyond delusional
Like 30 pounds at best, the title is just lying it's barely a log
What a dear little architect he is! Such a sweet wee face and so diligent and hard-working. I'm in love! 💗
Rolling the log to attack it from different angles was very clever.

that's how humans eat apples.
The product of an extremely intelligent designer
@@FirsteMann1929 i didnt know i was intelligent for eating apples like this

Beavers are amazing. Strong. Intelligent. Hard working. Resourceful. And most of all, very very cute! Cute! 😘
What fun to share office space with other creatures. 🌳🌱🌿🌲🌿🌱🌳
Wow so strong! I loved the gnawing sounds and Filbert looked very content while chewing that log in half... That was great to watch, thanks for sharing.. :)
Love the beaver! Such a important part of the eco system.....plus that are so darn cute!
He's hilarious. Love his manoeuvring around stuff while dragging the log. 😍
Did anyone see the wild beavers that have moved into the longest estate. How amazing that they are making a comeback in England.
Might help trout in the creeks too!
I had to look this up. I didn't even know there were Eurasian beavers.
Its fantastic!!
Beavers are really amazing animals, thank you for sharing this video.
I love these lil guys
Man, it is hard to believe they are so strong. Really neat to see up close! What a great life for the beavs at the zoo.
Phenomenal... the beavers are so wonderful and magnificent! They have such a big role in nature keeping wetland areas vibrant!
Beavers are super smart engineers! One would think they would get slivers in their lips....guess they have some secret 😉
A diligent architect, Filbert~ “What are you going to build at this time?”🤗💞
A log cabin…

Fabulous! Thanks for sharing this! Filbert and Maple are my favorite couple ❤️
Love how they just let them do what they were born to do!
The intelligence these guys have is truely amazing!😲👏👏👏
like how he carries the whole log into the office to finish off the chewing job
Just to cute !!!
Now that was really something to see! They are amazing!!Watching him pull
and maneuver that log was impressive .🥰
I'm amazed as well as frightened at what those choppers can do. ✌🏼💕
Wow! Great job Filbert!
“Finally chewed through this massive log, time to show this sucker off to Maple in the house!”
Such a great creature.
Nature's engineers
Equivalent of Tofu building engineering in China.
Amazing how incredibly strong these precious animals are and good architects too! ❤
It's like he knew exactly what length to cut it, in order to get it through all those angles.
I do love how they let him do it all by himself, that’s so cute ;u;
Oh never have seen this view. So glad they have place to dam up !! 😊😊
Amazing teeth
Filbert ASMR, and I approve
I like how the office staff is ignoring him, like this happens daily
Trees:*exist*
Beaver: nope
They build their homes out of their own food strong enough to hold up lakes and withstand bears trying to rip them apart. They are perfect animals.
I LOVE filbert
I think youre overfeeding this hamster!
Filbert is a delight to watch! Thanks!
Beautiful, intelligent and strong. Amazing.
Audience, who need an axe or chain saw; when you can hire this guy to cut and load your fire wood all winter. Perfect craftmanship!!!
Such a clever boy, Filbert - love you so much 🪵🦫❤
Cutest little power saw.
when he finally puts the log in place i can sure hes thinking "oh yea thats some good beaving"
Wow he is pretty strong. That log looks quite heavy.
He is so strong! And so determined!
FYI: Their teeth are red because they are iron enriched for extra strength. They are also self-sharpening chisels, unlike human teeth, optimized for daily wood cutting.
💪So strong!
Great worker ☺️
imagine being gnawed on by a beaver, while you can't move.
All creatures on earth was created so amazingly wonderful. All are intermingled to make this planet so special.
Fabulous, Filbert!
I just watched a bat vid, otter vid and this vid from Oregon Zoo, and I can't help but think how beautiful everything is made 🌄🌿
Is that tree trunk to big?
Gnaw
He looks like hes dragging a huge pencil around at the end.
They do such a wonderful job of letting them do what they’d do in the wild!!
how long did it take him to get through the log? that's my question of the day..
You KNOW construction costs are high when you hire beavers.
So darling and frankly amazing to watch this. Really loved it
Beautiful🤗
Love 💟the sound of a beaver gnawing and the buck teeth. What a wonderful wonderful world.
Lived. In Estes Park, it normal to
have elk on yard!
We treasured the
experience❤❤❤
I like how he has iron in his teeth that tint it orange and make them super strong.
How old is he now? It looks like he's getting bigger. I'm wondering how they're teeth stay so hard
He brushes them 3 times a day
Beavers are rodents, so their front teeth grow continuously. They stay hard because they're much younger than the beaver.
Filbert is the MAN!
Measure twice, cut once -- This fella is a professional!
Пожалуйста, продолжайте выкладывать бобров. Они офигенные.
Filbert is pretty powerful
It’s like he is chewing a carrot but it’s a tree ,so cool
That is impressive!
Beavers are clearly highly adept at advanced Mathematics. Executing *log* arithmic functions is like a walk in the park... um, zoo for them! 🙄🤔😆😂
I read somewhere that the teeth are brown due to having a very high iron content to help with the job in hand. Sounds plausible.
These beautiful magnificent creatures are beyond incredible. ❤
No apprentice wood chippy he’s working harder than any apprentice
beaver: dis mah stick
Don't mind me, just dragging a log through the office there.
Bé này là con gì mà lực sĩ quá, đôn cây 🌲 giỏi hơn người luôn. De thương đáng yêu chết được
What times are the Beavers most active? Everytime we come they're in the den sleeping.
The hardest working zoo residents 💕
Smart and cute, perfect combination
Man, imagine we could communicate with Beavers.. We would not need to use all the resources to make chainsaws n etc.. Nothing like naturally grown cutters..
Wow! He’s talented 🥰
How long does it take to get through the trunk completely?
I just ❤Beavers, could watch them all day
Ooooo...that sound is making my teeth, itch!😬
he like a big furry termite construction worker! fascinating creature
Yeah Filbert!

Born a carpenter. What a job.
Sounds much better than a chainsaw!
Only seen beavers do this in cartoons!
Why are they always taking logs to their cabin? What do they do with it there?
How the hell do they know what length they need? They don't use measuring tapes.
Their strength is unbelievable 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Nature's best chisel!
Reminds me of the time I saw Orca Winfrey take down a huge warthog and eat it.
