Two great thinkers and leaders of our time. Share this with your families, friends. He touch a very important subject of gharat in muslim ummah. Which unfortunately is very hard to find in many muslim families these days . Since in muslims families the ultimate goal is get the material wealth like the rest of the world. What both of these leaders are saying that we need to go back to our humble roots, just like many prophets who were encouraged to live like shepherds. This conversation today boosted my mood, and I see some hope. If people disagree with them . I would encourage them to come out of their utopian world and travel to the inner areas of pakistan, Morocco, Jordan and other muslim countries where you find humblest of people, With very little . This is what people are realizing all over the world that religion and family system is an important part of life. I would encourage brother Hamza to do more interviews with Muslim leaders like Erdogan to see what is their vision for world peace.

Pakistan is a huge complicated country with poverty,, not enough resources, dysfunctional administration, really a mess. It boggles my mind how it survives.
But let’s unpack it some. Of course it has problems of leadership. Capable leadership that is schooled in governance. Imran khan is not corrupt but that is not adequate. Institutions are important for a successful country with good GDP. Economy is important. One that delivers jobs and wages. Education is important. One that delivers a work force that has excellent credentials. Independent and honest judiciary is important so rule of law is enforced. Resources are important for the economy. Natural resources, oil, gas, minerals and most of all water.
Let’s say Imran Khan is perfect. But where are the institutions, the judiciary, rule of law, resources, capable workforce? How can a party or one leader do this alone. Even Mandela’s government was not successful. South Africa is a big mess today.
