    Thanks for this video, it's very useful. I have a question and I hope you can help me: when I change the value of "Add'I Thickness Rendering" to 100 in "Simulation Property", the circle doesn't become a sphere. Why? I can't go on.

      Check to make sure you have "Thick Textured Surface" select in the 3D Toggle Menu.

    Thank so much.
    But I have a problem that after adding the obj file, the bead shows up, but in the Property edittor panel, it doesn't show the Specification line to resize, but only the table from the material line down. So when I want a smaller type, I have to add another odj file and adjust the scale in the add frame, it takes too much time, can you help me?

    • @CLO3D
      @CLO3D  Год назад +1

      Hi Du Hoang
      When you bring in an OBJ as just a trim you will have to resize it in the 3D window by clicking on the scale box (upper right corner of the Gizmo next to the glue bottle) or go to the Trims tab in the Object Browser > Select the Trim > adjust the scale in the Property Editor below.
      Also, You can easily select the Trim in the Object Browser and then click Copy in the upper right corner. This will allow you to create as many different size versions as needed in the project. Similar to how a BOM works

    Hi, when I apply my texture, I get a very defined otline on the texture. How can I improve that? I screenshoted the texture from the video and cut the outline

    • @CLO3D

      Hi. A screenshot is likely lacking in definition and is not seamless. You may want to find your own texture that you can download directly

      Check the 3D Toggle Menu and make sure you have Thick Textured Surface is activated. (the blue fabric icon with white edges, NOT the fabric icon that is blue on one side and white on the other.

      @@kristynykilchuk5337 If you are on Textured Surface your fabrics will have a dark back side. If you are on Thick Textured surface the front and back look the same. Depending on the Fabric, the thickness will vary.

    Thank you for this video ! I just have a quesiton, when i add 100 of thickness, the bead doesn't appear like a perfect sphere, it is kind of flattened on the sides and I can't get it very round ! Would you know why ? Thank you so much !!

    • @CLO3D
      @CLO3D  2 года назад +1

      The key to this technique is the size of the pattern piece you use, the Additional Thickness Render you add and the percentage of the Curved Side Geometry.

I made my beads, glued them on my poncho following your video. But when i simulated they all fell off and my poncho melted off the avatar. Help Please

    • @CLO3D

      You must add the beads as a trim. And before you run the full animation, click the camera icon over the timeline and this will simulate the garment on the avatar as it moves. THEN you can play the animation and save the recroding.

      Sorry, it's been a long time but I have been testing this tutorial and I have found that, by default, my beads weighed 128kg each. Once changed to 1g each (you can modify it on the Property Editor) it works like a charm!

    Hey guys I have an issue. My trims won’t show up in the render display and it’s been something that I’ve been trying to figure out for weeks. How do I make the trims that I download from the clo shop show up when I render it as it is working on the 3D display but not showing up at all when I render it.

    • @CLO3D
      @CLO3D  4 года назад +1

      Try chaning the Render Properties to GPU (Cuda). Open Render Window and click Render Properties (on right/end area of render toolbar). Change Render Engine to GPU (Cuda). Some elements might not show if your computer is rendering off the CPU only. This might help your trim show in the Render window.
