This is very similar to squash, in terms of racket skills... I'd imagine if you give a top squash player a few months to adjust, he or she would beat these guys quite easily.
....actually from this video it becomes clear why every other sport uses nets; serving becomes too big of an advantage and it becomes too difficult moving the opponent around the field, leading to a lot of stasis at the front of each court. my friend and I use the back square of the tennis court which is wider than the areas used here, this gives much more lateral motion and makes the sport, i think, more attractive and enjoyable.... the field here is too narrow for attractive rallies...
