The lines in the second verse about sending three bucks to a comic book refer to the novelty toy called Sea Monkeys that were advertised in the back of comic books back when. The ads pictured them as tiny aquamen like creatures with a house, car and wife. In reality they were desiccated brine shrimp that would come to life when water was added. The correlated Rolling Stones song is "Stop Breaking Down", a cover of a Robert Johnson song from 1937. In that song the singer talks about how all the ladies chase after him but he loves his baby and she packs a pistol that she told him she would use on him if he strayed.

The Exile album must be her most popular album. This like a lot of the others I’ve heard sounds very minimalistic. The production is tight, but not overwound. It’s cool and give a nod to late The Beatles and The Rolling Stones

It probably would’ve been better to start off with Liz Phair’s hits and then work backwards?
