      @@UNAVItech it's impossible to install this without that noise in the background. it's either that or the more annoying constant sound when the door is closed. this noise is definitely the lesser of the two annoyances.

    I just bought this unit, but haven't installed it yet. I have a few questions based on comments I've seen on this unit. I have an Andriod phone and a iPod. Since this unit uses the iPod port, can I no longer have the phone and iPod connected together? Secondly, I see you installed a microphone, so this means you can't use the car microphone....there have been complaints that the installed one sounds muffled.

      Hi there,
      This is one of the technicians here at Unavi USA inc. Our new kits does not use the ipod mode anymore so yes you can still use your ipod if you wish. However if you want sound coming from carplay you can only use one or the other. You cannot use both at the same.
      Also the GMIC cable that you see here in our installation, it taps into the original mic of the vehicle. We use that for android auto only.

    Very detailed and professional video, but it’s just not worth 600$, you can buy a very nice aftermarket for that price.

    Are you still able to use the existing USB/iPod ports in the front to charge your phone after this installation?

      Yes you can. Our system will not affect that.

    This video couldn't have been better. I would not consider myself experience in installing car-related systems and I followed this exactly as described and despite it taking me a while, everything worked the first time and it made this purchase so worth it. There are a couple things I'd call out. One is when you route the wires to the passenger side door, make sure each wire can reach where you will ultimately set the Anyway Go unit. The other was make sure that the wire with the yellow tape is accessible when you reinstall the radio unit (you will need to reconnect this at the end).
    Thank you for this video!! Saved me $300 of having a third party install this.

    Great video! Do you have that part number for new screen unit? Mine is bad in our 2018 QX60..I was trying to read it from the video, but could never read it..thanks!!
