You can free-look in all vehicles in third person. Just move a finger somewhere on the right side of your screen not on buttons.

I'm so jealous of your hitboxes, they're not jumping, what phone are you playing with? I'm playing on a 4 year old thing and my hitboxes are all over the place, and seldom where the actual players are :P

Poco F3, snapdragon 865. I play with almost everything on low, my typical ping is between 20 & 40, but the boxes behave the same on the rare occasions that I have 80+ ping.
Its a distance from the enemy + field of view thing. Track your target as you're flying away from them, make the minimal circle you need for another attack. I'm not exactly sure on the distances but it feels like a distance lower than 300m keeps the boxes accurate. If you don't track your target its less (cause the server decides you don't need to be given that information, and it stops updating. The client uses the old values until either out of max range (don't have a number) or new values are send by the server.
Predict where people go so you are more lined up for them when the boxes move.
Around 3:12 you see the boxes jump despite me being relatively close the whole time. I'm not immune to it either.
