As far as a replacement would be firstly skoda karoq diesel SEL mainly got great reviews cheaper option thirdly dacia duster prestige dci. Hyundai tucson top of range diesel 1.7 would on shortlist also. I wouldn't be running for a vauxhall grandland X over a even though same frame underneath Peugeot 5008 secondly but much better quality excellent watch don't know what your budget is hope you find a suitable candidate for you and family needs 👍👍

Avoid mazda cx 5 diesel carbon build up short pace of time and 1.2 wetbelt vauxhall, citroen and Peugeot disintegrate 20-40,000 not even a upgrade to prevent it when replaced

Hi we get the Insignia downunder here in Australia as a Holden Commodore or Calais . It's interesting to see the different specs in the other markets . In Australia our smallest engine is the 2 litre Petrol and Diesel Turbo. Our biggest engine is 3.6 litre V6 with AWD and 9 speed automatic . All the cars sold here are only available with automatic gearboxes. Petrol and Diesel here is a lot
cheaper than UK . They were a flop because everyone wanted a V8 like in the older Commodore the irony is they raced in Touring cars with a V8.
They are a large car so I'm really surprised that they come with 1.5 litre in the UK.

Cracking cars over here in the UK, the 1.5 being a turbo is pretty pocky but nothing in comparison to a V6 would love to have one over in the UK just to be unique. It's odd as a Camaro in the UK is unique and rare so people think they the greatest thing on earth but in the states it's a normal car. Weird how the world works lol

I have a steering wheel for this like new taken from a 3 month old 2018 model if you want to buy it. Comes with all the stalks and steering column. Collection from Liverpool.

the chain and tensioners, was the car under warranty or did they do it as good faith gesture

It was just out of warranty by 2 months so as a gesture of goodwill they covered it engine was only on 51k, the electric/ hydraulic tensioner failed and so did the plastic guides. The cars had an "upgraded tensioner" as they claimed it "should have been a recall" but recalls never happened. Half the showroom 1.6 cdti had the same faults.

I have that when I plug the car in. I have been able to watch RUclips on my screen from time to time. With my spec having the full sized screen it's great 😃
