I am the same way Rox! I can't wait to be done with our mortgage so I can grow our savings. I feel comfortable when we have $20-30k saved...I care about that more than investing. TY for sharing!
Hey, Rox. Good to see you back. Sorry I am a week late commenting. I stay behind on watching videos pretty much all the time these days. Anyway, great video and explanation as always. Congratulations on hitting 500. It's a huge milestone. Keep up the great work. 💕
Yea, I am hardcore having a "binge spend" year (no not from gucci). From 2018-2020, I basically barely spent money outside of basic needs (food, housing, & transportation). And recently counted I have spent over $3500 on travel and travel related expenses this year (about a 15-20% increase to my total yearly spending on just that alone). To be fair though, all but $190 of that $3,500 was paid for by bank bonuses and credit card rewards
We usually use the "Christmas Club" with our bank..because we anticipate spending more in October - December every year lol we'll see how we did with all the crazy inflation this holiday season though, great video!
Is the "Christmas club" a program that transfers money to a christmas specific savings account? I think it is so cool and creative, all the ways people are using to save money. Thank you!

I love how in depth you explain everything, it is very helpful. Thank you!
Thank you! 😎
This was very helpful! You add SO MUCH value to this Personal Finance Space. I have to watch this again later on my break.
You are so sweet! Thank you for that!

The one down side to replying so late to comments is getting to see all the progress people make on their goals!
It’s great to see that you’re back! 🤓
Hey Britt! Thanks! Yeah finally back on that productivity train lol!
Paper Spreadsheet!
Right?! I'm going to add that to my "best bloopers of all time" list.

The Transfer Tuesday platform originated with Mary from "Pennies Not Perfection." Thanks.

Yeah it kind of catches up to you right? You just perfectly described my 2015. The bank bonus and rewards thing is so awesome!

Nice breakdown. You're WAY more organized than I could ever hope to be lol
Lol thanks! I'm not really so organized, I just play an organized person on the internet!
Personal finance card revoked!
I assume you are the one that revokes them if need be...
