the crystalfly catcher gadget from the fontaine reputation lvl 3 reward is really helpful too! the downside is it takes time (1 week) and you need to give it 30 minerals to activate it but it passively gives you 15 crystalfy cores each week! i used to have this problem too but now i have a hundred of them 😊 i hope that can help!
don't feel too upset about missing them when your'e on mobile especially- mobile is very difficult to maneuver at least for me xD jumping is probably my least favorite mechanic on mobile lol

I been playing on mobile the entire time I had played the game and the crystal flies suck to get it was hard to trap them in my net for my tea pot
