Failing at Saving Primos for Natlan [Genshin Impact Geo Only]

- Natlan is coming with version 5.0 in Genshin Impact, and there are two confirmed new Geo characters. So we need every primogem possible. With that in mind, I set out to try and earn a good number of primogems from the current events and Spiral Abyss, but along the way ended up doing some pulls instead...
Geo is often viewed as one of the 'worst' elements in Genshin Impact... Time to try and change that. Can we beat Genshin Impact using ONLY Geo characters? Only time will tell.

Characters are recognized by regions by their visions. Thoma has an Inazuma vision, classifying him as Inazuman, even tho he is from mondstadt
Would wanderer be from Sumeru then?

hey! lil funfact, yunjin can actually tank enemy attacks using her skill if you hold it down, and the amount of dmg she can tank relies on her hp! its really helpful in certain situations, so i thought this to be something a lot of people dont know or do! yayayayyay
I think Thoma counts as a Inazuman because his vision has an Inazuma case, not the Mondstadt 3-winged one. This makes sense because Chiori's vision also has the inazuman case. Another case which adds to it is the fact that Wanderer counts as a Sumeru character, not an Inazuman
EDIT: Another way to check if Chiori really was Fontainian, is Charloette's passive, where she gains certain stats for Fontaine characters and different stats for the other regions
Another case is Arlecchino, which counts as Snezhnaya. Another simple way to see if a character is Fontaine or not, is to see if they have an alignment.
In their talents I'm pretty sure it'll say if they have an Arkhe (pneumousia) too!

also thoma is canonically mixed! his mother is from mondt but his father is inazuman, thats why he traveled to inazuma in the first place, to visit his dad, but gets washed up on the boat and remains in inazuma (source: his 4th character story)

Nah, that's not cheating. It's just for a few primos and more primos means more content / new chars. You're not making any progress in the game, just taking photos. Grab all Primos from events, if necessary with other chars.

Yeah but he got his vision in Inazuma, it's the same for Wanderer, he's from Inazuma, but he has a Sumeru vision and also Arlecchino has a Snezhnayan vision despite not being from Snezhnaya
no he TRAVELED to mondtadt for familly reasons , he is still inazuman

Why would it consider lore? The game itself goes based off the region the character is listed as in their profile which is based off their vision

I mean scaramouche, even though he's anemo, gains different buffs when he swirls with different elements when using his skill so i could see them actually doing that in the future with geo sheilds
As a long time player and lover of Genshin, I am SO glad that I found this channel! You're a wonderful entertainer and the challenges that you come up with ALMOST convinced me to try one for myself.
The good part of having done the archery challenge on swords and spells only is that you pretty much can say if smt is cheating or not and no one will whine about it

Characters regions aren’t determined by where they were born/live but their vision case and their affiliation on their character profile. Thoma has a inazuma vision and is affiliated with the yashiro commission making him a inazuma character despite being from mondstadt

Geo MC used to be pretty popular! I used to see a lot of dedicated GMC mains back in the day, hope they're still out there
3:44 i think they count their vision, Thoma was born in Mondstad and live in Inazuma, he has a Inazuman vision, so he's from Inazuma. Chiori was born in Inazuma and lives in fontaine, even if she says she dont pretend to go back to Inazuma, she has a Inazuman vision, so she's from Inazuma(funny part is that she got a vision from Inazuma when she decided to leave Inazuma). Wanderer was born in Inazuma, but he lives in Sumeru, even if he tells people he is a wanderer(lol) and his homeland is Inazuma, he has a Sumeran vision, so he's form Sumeru. Arlecchino, were not sure were she was born in, but she was raised in Fontaine, and i'm also not sure where she considerates as her home(Fontaine or Shneznaya), but she has a Shneznayan vision, so she's from Shneznaya.
I'm pretty sure the game used to include Childe in liyue stuff(using liyue mats and stuff), thats because Shneznaya wasnt released and they needed to put him some where so theu putted him with Liyue because he was released in Liyue's uptades, same with Arlecchino in Fontaine(their also including Childe in fontaine stuff now lol) but their both from Shneznaya
I really hope Java already recorded a video for WuWa swords only cuz Changli is a sword character and there’s four days left on her banner as of today

Since they changed the weapon banner points system the pity on weapon banner is not bad, you can probably get xilonen signature on natlan

Had this idea for a geo character that I think would be fun. What if em was useful? What if the characters skill DMG or normal attacks change based on the crystalized shield picked up and it increases said DMG based on their em? That would be pretty cool. Then you wouldn't need to worry about a elemental goblet, and just boost the em

Random funny fact, on hoyolab, Scaramouche doesn't show up under any region when sorting (despite being from Inazuma and having a Sumeru vision). He also doesn't work as an Inazuman character for this event and does as a Sumeru character, but in TCG his card can't cause Sumeru or Inazuma resonance. Make up your mind guys!
Also, as a PlayStation user especially, I REALLY hate some of the button choices they used for exiting, continuing, etc in this event specifically. Every single time we've gotten it. I have always ruined my setups. This time was way better because after a few mess ups I managed to remember not to press circle too quickly but yeah... I wish they would test this event on PlayStation / controller too

I think if it is an event, if the event gives a trial character then it isn't cheating to use it from a different element. Likewise, it isn't doesn't count as cheating to have a different element in the party, unless you use the elemental skill/burst

during chiori banner... my c2 itto now c6... i lost six 50 50s
got c0 chiori and her signature weapon. all lost 50 50 on her and her weapon but at least i got a bunch of red horns for my itto ;)
that literally ate 100k primogems.
luckily i saved and now have 93k primogems and 78 fates. watch me lose all 50 50s on xilonen c6 potential geo buffer for itto.
also itto over navia. especially in multi enemies content. mono geo....i don't even want to say navia is a geo character ._.

statue leveling advice. Level up Inazuma, Sumeru and Fontaine. You will get 60 gems for each new level of leveling. For geo statue like for anemo you are going to have only 10 gems. [Im honestly do not remember did you lever the statue on that acc, but well. . yeah. Goodluck and thank you for your vids]

What if a geo character was like kuki where they pulsate but crystalized explode like bloom with different elements and scales on em

Maybe you'll get a geo healer. Most of the chibi sized characters are healers after all (Sayu, Qiqi, Diona, Dori and Sigewinne are all healers).
11-1 is absolutely awful this rotation... I got 0 stars with Alhaitham hyperbloom and Arlecchino vaporise teams... Their builds still need work, but on everything else (except 12th floor) i got 3 stars easily. So yeah, it is actually impressive that you were able to get 1 star there...
I wouldn't count this event on the geo only restrictions. Those challenges don't give much rewards anyways

Chirori is inazuman because that's where she considers as her home. Thoma as fully accepted himself as inazuman despite being from Mondstadt so he's considered Inazuman.
thomas father is inazuman, so he isn technically from inazuma.
