Dear Sir, I am from India, Punjab. I recently got one KH-20 35 mm Russian projector. A nice piece of engineering. At first it worked well but gave some noise and looking closely, its big gear on the rear side was loose as one screws was missing (which i got and tightened it) and as the gear was not in line with the motor gear, I removed the spacers from the front side and the gears are now in line. I have now a problem with it. After working for about 5-7 seconds the projector stops and it is hard to turn it by the hand key also. Then, when I give some rounds in opposite direction, by rotating the shutter/fan, by opening the rear of the projector, then it again is in the position to run and it is smooth to rotate it by hand key. When I start the motor the projector woks for about 5-7 seconds but again after running for about 5-7 seconds, the projector stops again. Can you help sir.
Hi! There should be a slight gap between the motor gear and the large drive gear. Noise during the operation of this mechanism is the norm. Also check the operation of the Maltese mechanism - is there any jamming due to lack of lubrication inside the box.

Только заряжать надо правильно. Петля над светтофильтром не должна касаться корпуса проектора ,иначе будут царапины.
