진짜 유투브로 이런 연주를 감상 할 수 있다는게 그저 감사할 따름이죠.. 정말 사라 장은 나이가 들어감으로써 뭔가 말로 형용할 수 없는 뭔가를 내포하는 거 같아요
The reactions to the background video show how people are so immersed in their "ordinary" existance that they don't realize how precious and unique it all is. It's not just the bees and the flowers, the stars and the clouds, the forests or the grand canyon, the geological and biological creations of millions of years... This everyday urban existence of ours is also part of the human drama, the smallest things, it's all part of the great unfolding, all equally worthy of this dramatic music. I too thought at the beginning that this music only fits the peaks of existence, the greatest beauty or the greatest tragedy. But the truth is, everything is "it". It's just a matter of perspective, where you are placing yourself as a viewer.

Haunting music, beautifully played by Sarah Chang and the orchestra. She is an amazing artist. Wasn't too happy with the video direction of Jake Michaels. It was not in keeping with the music's wistful sense. The music is not modern as was the video style. Oh well, I saw and heard great music and great playing. That, is all that matters.

Absolutely one of my favourite pieces to play. Sarah Chang's passion is what carries this performance even if there is a few intonation and spiccato issues. Her feeling trancends any errors that bother me. Not sure if its a mic/recording glitch but there are some timing issues that are a little distracting. Seemed like she was a little ahead like the mix is a little out. Fantastic heart felt and inspired performance.

Background video sucks as has already been said - why would anyone want to see a video of random bs during a classical concert? This woman is one of the finest violinists today playing on the ex Isaac Stern 1717 Guarneri del Gesu. Wonderful performance.

omg! absolutely love this! such passion. and the intonation was spot on. the visuals take it to another level, for sure. and - as a violinist - i couldn't help noticing how she used the chinrest more as an accessory, as she was riding the tailpiece the whole time. most inane background I've ever seen, nothing to do with the piece. If anything the background should have been videos of something tragic like the scenes of concentration camps, scenes of the bombings of Dresen.
