Some tips from someone who also has been trying out Omni-Man today:
- If Omni-Man is spamming that stomp attack from his stance, just up-block it. That'll make it unsafe and you can absolutely punish with a full combo.
- His high-low mixup basically doesn't exist. None of his specials hit low, but he has lots of mids and some go into overheads. Just low block the first hit of every combo (except his forward 2, a teleporting overhead punch that's unsafe on block), then stand block the rest of the combo.
- Most of his normal combos are safe on block, but just about all of his specials are punishable on block (except for the belly bump).
Have fun guys, and don't let Omni-Man players like me bully you.
Two words to fix all the weaknesses you wrote about, LAO KAMEO.
This right here is exactly why he's straight up bottom tier. It's pretty disappointing tbh. He looks scary to someone who doesn't know what's up, but to anyone halfway decent he is absolute trash. Don't get me wrong, I'm having fun with him, but I'm also getting fuckin WRECKED.
@@voodude1074Tbh, using Goro or Kung Lao really does mitigate his weaknesses. Plus it hasn't even been a full day lol chill, I don't think Omni Man is bottom tier, he's just really freakong weird.
@@voodude1074 He's got a 12 frame mid, a 17 frame mid that goes half screen, he's got a +3 stagger on 12, he has a 14 frame low that armor breaks and full combos, converts off of anything, no way he's bottom tier.

I really like Goro as his kameo. His ambush attack is just so quick and Omni-Man launches for so many attacks, it just works well. He also has strong mids that can jail into Goro or use Goro to make his moves relatively safe.

Hey ,thanks for the goro advice, I feel like omni man has the joynny cage syndrome, and what I mean by that is he's so good by himself that any kameo will do so I want to find the best one that will enhance him and my playstle the most, so definitely will check out goro

have fun with invincible, it's quiet the ride and I've loved everything so far. The kind of show that gets you excited for a day of the week it releases lol
Omni man feels like he's supposed to be a read based character, not a rushdown character. Sure he has tools to get in, but i think staying mid range and using his normals like f3 or b4 is what you're supposed to do once you're in. That or he's a completely different character depending on the Kameo you use lol
Edit: I wish his viltrumite stance was just a biiiiiiiiiiiiiit faster so he'd have actual good combo enders. Like maybe 10 or 12 frames instead of 16 frame start up.
Good take I never considered that but they prob designed him that way cause he’s super unsafe on his special moves. Yeah his stance should be faster I was hoping that his gran was an actual grab not a mid but that might have been op
He really ain’t a rush down he has no mix ups and all his moves are punishable if u are a average player u will get wiped using Omni Man

He can get 38% meterless all his combos are meterless it’s not on the lower side at all😭
@@Heissslol my raiden combo was 48% meterless after patch its 44% thats not low lui kang can get 42% without meter
Mileena can get 40% no meter and so manny more his damage is not that heavy

Why can’t we ever get a game that the characters aren’t nerfed into oblivion. Why can’t we just have a fun game to play . I wish we could just get a great fighting game with the characters turned up to the max and people could just sit down and have fun like we use to do .
