This is a little comforting for me to watch. I might be FtM and I want to be on Broadway. Is there a chance that T would make my voice sound horrible, or just lower it?

@zackhanscom can you clarify what that means? because i behave like a human being, there really aren't any 'girl' behaviors - just masculine, feminine, and neither. i definitely am not the manliest of men, or the most masculine guy i have ever met, but i am also not the most feminine guy (speaking of cis-gendered men, actually.) so i was just wondering what 'behave like a girl' means to you.
hey i just wanna know something.. is it safe to use testosterone even though im not planning on doing the surgery anytime soon? and i also wanted to know if it's mandatory to do the surgery after being on T for about 6 months.. :) thank you. hopefully u'll answer cuz i really really look up to u.

@HellsAngelsofNC i was born female but have felt male in my head since birth yes, so i've been medically transitioning to male for the past two years. understandably confusing if this is the first video you happen upon!

Thank you so much for all the cuts of yourself singing. I'm a serious musician and classically trained singer, and damage to my voice is my biggest apprehension as I contemplate starting T. It sounds like your essential vocal quality stayed intact s your range dropped (with a little raspiness and cracking when it was on the cusp). If I come out the other side as a tenor, I'd be delighted. You've given me a lot of courage. So thank you!
@blackkeys87 being overweight is altering your body, doing substances is altering your body. i was just pointing out other things that alter ones body i believe ;] i wasn't saying he 'should' yell at those folks, i'm just saying that there's almost nothing unaltered (unnaturally) about a persons body after a certain age.

what kind of work out did you do next to taking testosterone ?
im ftm and i was wondering were to go or were to call about starting Testosterone therapy. any replies would be very appreciated thank you.
@Youtiubeer i was born in a female body. natural transitioning for female-to-male transgender folks doesn't increase testosterone enough to get past the about two or three month mark that injections get. i've been taking testosterone to fix my body, in a sense, because i was born male, but in a female body.

Skye- U put that video together great! usually they could get pretty boring. But u did awesome. Its crazy how 1 yr of T can change your life so much! especially getting top surgery! I love transition video they are beautiful and this on is no exception. It's amazing and a beautiful thing that nowadays there is a way for you body to match your mind. People should accept that because I bet it was a journey. Your progress is fantastic.

@czystekurestwo can I ask you this question which gender were you born first ,I just a little confused I was taking Depo to help me treat my low T because of the Rheumatoid Arthritis I have, and because of the Oxycodone I take for pain as this stuff lowers my "T" count . Im not trying to humiliate you in anyway just trying to find out exactly why you take it because Im confused by your story and dont know what gender you were born with .

I am myself a female with a male brain and well, nowadays I'm really OK with myself... But I wonder how it would feel for you, how your mind would react to all this. Don't take it if you don't want to, find other doctors who are more willing to help, and/or keep on fighting. They can't force you to do something to your body you don't want to. We have the same ridiculous rule here in the Netherlands, but over the years people have complained and it's now occasionally possible to get surgery without hormones.
This makes me so excited, I'm finally starting testosterone June 17th! :)

secondly, i really respect you for what you've done. it takes a lot of courage to do this.
for a while, i thought i wanted to transition. i honestly saw myself as a guy, but as time went by, i realized that i was better off as a female. my family isn't very supportive of my sexuality. i can't even come out to my mother, she's the only one who doesn't know. i respect you.

Amazing, you were like a Butterfly going through a metamorphosis. Congrats on finding, and getting your true self. Its been a long journey. Note to self: if you haven't started Testopel for TRT, look into it. You only need to get the pellets inserted about every 3 to 4 months.
